TBD, but unlikely as we have not seen that as an option on any other Fords. So not sure the Bronco would just randomly have that available.
It’s present on older ProCal installs (I still have it on mine) - but was phased out in ā€˜23. I’ve heard the new ā€˜25 may have it stock but haven’t been able to verify

Dunno if that’s something you can read from an ECM or not - but it definitely existed on the Bronco for a while.

23l bronco tuning is here.webp

We’re excited to officially announce that custom tuning for the 2.3L Bronco is now available from Panda Motorworks using HP Tuners!
This isn’t a rushed ā€œfirst to marketā€ file. This is the result of over a decade of EcoBoost tuning experience and thousands of vehicles calibrated across multiple platforms.

Why Trust Panda Motorworks with Your 2.3L?

Panda Motorworks has been tuning 2.3L EcoBoost platforms for more than a decade, from daily drivers to track cars, rally cars and professional drift builds. This engine isn’t new territory for us. We’ve seen it in every configuration imaginable and understand where it shines, where it needs support, and how to extract power safely!

Right now, we are actively tuning our shop 2.3L Bronco on our in-house dyno, validating changes with real data and real-world driving.
šŸ“Š Dyno results are coming soon, but tunes are available for purchase now!

🐼 Why a PandaTune?

Ford Bronco {thread} {filename}

We don’t chase big dyno numbers just for screenshots.

Every PandaTune is built around our three Pillars of Tuning:

Performance – Noticeable gains in power and drivability
Reliability – Consistent output without stressing critical components
Safety – Conservative where it matters, aggressive where it counts

This is not a ā€œfire and forgetā€ tune. Everything we release is backed by data logging, testing, and real driving. If we wouldn’t run it in our own rigs, it doesn’t leave the shop. Simple as that.

šŸ‘‰ Want to dive deeper into what makes PandaTuned different and how we approach calibration? Click here to learn more.

Real People. Real Support.

This is where we separate ourselves from the pack.

When you purchase a PandaTune, you receive a tune ticket, which is a direct line to our actual calibrator.
No faceless support queues.
No copy-paste replies.
No waiting weeks for answers.

We review logs, answer questions, and make sure your Bronco is running exactly how it should!

ā± Average response time: ~24 hours
šŸ“… Support hours: Monday–Friday, 9–5 CST

We know you want to get back behind the wheel, and we don’t leave you hanging.

The RTD: Remote Tuning Made Simple
Ford Bronco {thread} {filename}

We’re using the HP Tuners RTD, which makes remote tuning easier than ever.

• Plug it in
• Connect via your phone using the Tune Delivery Network (TDN) app
• Flash your Bronco in just a few taps

Need to log data? Easy.
Need to send logs to us? Automatic and cloud-based.

The RTD uses the same hardware as HP Tuners’ MPVI3, so you’re getting professional grade tools in a clean, user friendly package.

What’s Next?
This tune is dialed and ready for the road — but we’re just getting started.
We’re already testing:
  • Higher octane fuel
  • Popular bolt-on modifications
  • Expanded calibration options as the platform evolves

The Bronco aftermarket is exploding, and we’re staying ahead of it with continuous testing, refinement, and updates.

šŸ“Œ Stay tuned to this thread! All dyno results, updates, and new options will be posted here first.
If you’ve got questions, drop them below. We’re happy to talk tuning!

To use the tune provided by Panda, you’d need to remove the Ford performance tune. Unfortunately, both tunes cannot be used simultaneously. The Panda tune is expected to be more effective than the Ford performance tune, as they have been tuning the EcoBoost engine for years. I hope this information is helpful.

Expected? Will your testing include a comparison between the two? If it is better I would definitely pony up and by one

Custom tuning options will always be a better choice than off the shelf tunes. Tailed for your specific car and needs.

I’m not affiliated with Panda I’m just some guy on the internet. I said expected because the tuning for the 2.3 is so new I can’t make any comments on performance but typically custom tunes are better. Hope that helps

Can this tune improve the shift logic of the 10 speed, I have a the 3.73 gears with 35 in tires and sometimes the trans likes to upshift too much to where it lugs the engine and I have to manual downshift. Also what is the max PSI this is ran at?

Yes it can!

MAX PSI depends on so many variables such as fuel, mods, and more.

How does pricing work if you need a minimum of two tunes?

I have access to e85 locally, So an E30 tune would be nice, but when I travel to Colorado no E85 is available, So I would also need an 91 tune...

There is a upgrade for the E30 option that is heavily discounted for our Tune Customers :)

This will not work with the Ford Pro Cal. You will need to uninstall the Pro Cal and install this!

At some point we may do a direct comparison on our dyno if time allows. That said, this will 100% outperform Ford Pro Cal.

The key difference is that our calibration is fully custom—it’s tailored specifically to your modifications and the fuel you’re running. Ford Pro Cal is a one-time flash with no adjustability, no updates for future mods, and no way to review or refine what the calibration is doing.

With our tuning, everything is reviewed, optimized, and adjusted as needed to make sure you’re getting the best and safest performance possible.
