HOSS 3.0 Lift options?

* Ride a little firmer, but no less comfortable.
* You feel bumps a *tiny* bit more.
* Brake dive noticeably reduced
* I can’t comment about articulation or travel, but at high speed offroad, the shocks still respond great.
* Ride height just looks better and totally level
* I would recommend this, especially if you want 37s (which I’ll do soon)


MEASUREMENTS (to bottom of flare)
Before, Rear: 39.5”
Before, front: 38.5”

After, Rear: 41” (+1.5”)
After, Front: 41” (+2.5”)

coming from wranglers the break dive was crazy for me when I got my Wildtrak. I’ll have to consider this lift, especially after I get my winch installed

If I were to do a winch, I’d probably look at lift springs instead of this lift. I like the height and feel of this, but I wouldn’t guess the overall performance would be right with added weight all the way out front.

That's IMO. Maybe post a thread to ask about it. But the lift springs would be generally useful if you're steadily carrying more load, like a winch, heavier bumper, etc.

To my eye it looks to be a tad bit higher in front, could be my eyes or the picture angle bit if it is indeed a bit higher in front I wonder what the outcome would be if you left out the small spring perch. I also like a bit of rake so I can put a load in the back and not be squatting, I don’t want as much rake as stock maybe half but leaving out the perch just might do it.

I like that this lift is just enough to still look good with 35’s (I don’t see a need for 37’s) and the fender gap is not excessive.

Yea it’s just the picture I’m sure. I actually thought the same until I measured and saw it in person — it’s perfectly level on passenger side and has 1/8” rake on the driver’s side … and that’s due to my previously-unused tire being rotated into driver’s rear spot.

I figured it was the pic, I’m wondering how much rake it will have leaving the perch collar off the front, it looks pretty small likely what adds the .25” of the lift.

My wheels are +12 offset, 18x9

I’ve done the Zone 2.25” kit on my HOSS 3.0 Wildtrak.

Will I fit these tires with no rub?

I don’t do any crawling (yet?) but do some medium difficulty trails, beach, and high speed off-roading.

(I know the JKS kit exists, but I would really rather not spend a few hundred additional dollars … and mostly I would rather not have to ask my wife for permission to do this on top of the tires, which she already graciously approved lol)

I’ve been following this site for a while now and just became a member. Just took delivery yesterday of my Wildtrak after 482days!

By the way Lamarque Ford honored original msrp from the start with no markup! Great communication and service! They even gave my son a little custom hot wheels bronco! Nothing but good things to say!

Finally made myself click purchase on multiple full shopping carts online which includes new wheels and tires(37s).

Are there any lift options for the Hoss 3.0 suspension that I am not seeing? I don’t see much.

With BFG KO2 I know that setup would be fine as I have ran 37x12.5 on both the stock wheels and an 17x9 +0. The wheel falls in between and world work with a KO2.

if your concerned with retaining the Hoss 3.0 Fox Shock ride quality you might want to take a look at the weight of those tires, they are really heavy tires >80 lbs. The shocks are not valved for tires that heavy, that’s why so many people go with the KO2’s when they go to 37’s because there the lightest out there ~66lbs. Just a heads up.

Hmm. Hadn’t thought about that. But $300 for a set of 4 is pretty hard to pass up (pending inspection, though I’m told there’s no patching or damage)

I hit the Zone UCA’s with Baja Boss A/T 37x12.50 on stock wheels at full lock. If I didn’t have the JKS mod done I would have hit crash bars front and rear.
I added spacers, which would be equivalent to 0 offset wheels and that helped clear the UCA’s but would have hit the crash bars even more and that was just on flat ground in the garage.
