Plenty of videos out there for perch lifts - but I haven’t found one specific for the HOSS 3.0 Fox on my Wildtrak. Question:
All the videos show that once you have the strut disassembled, you just knock the perch off with a hammer. Slide the new lift spacer on, then slide the perch back on top of it. On my Fox struts - banging on those perches is not doing a damn thing.
Before I get more aggressive I want to be sure these are the same as the Bilsteins. Looking at them, it appears that the perch sits on an inner separate ring - both of them have notches. Almost as if to accept a spanner wrench of some sort. (circled in yellow in pic below)
So can somebody confirm that these perches just beat off? Or are they threaded on?
