Do yourself a big favor and do not ruin the ride quality you get from the Fox Hoss 3.0 shocks by using perch collars, they ride awesome and unless your planning on adding some weight to the front end then they are good as is, if your going g to add weight then just get some Eibach springs to get some lift back. You would be better off selling the Hoss 3.0 shocks and saving to get some King or Fox coilovers and UCA for a proper lift.

I’m not against spring perch lifts on the Bronco’s with the Bilstein shocks since they already ride a bit rough but the Hoss 3.0’s have position sensitive damping, get out of that zone and they will ride harsh and you will loose downtravel.
Does this apply to the RPG 1.5" perch collars as well?

This is the email with Fox about the RPG perch collars...

Hi,
I have a 2025 Ford Bronco Sasquatch with Fox HOSS 3.0 shocks. I would like to lift my Bronco 1” to 1.5” while keeping my Fox shocks and springs. Do you recommend using perch collars such as the RPG 1.5” ?

Hello,
Make certain to keep the OE spring seat clips if you choose to return it to stock height. That is the only feedback, Fox Factory aftermarket receives on the matter.
RPG can provide full details on the pros and potential cons if any.

Thank you,

from what i gathered from rpg was, to maintain as much as the factory ride as possible, the 2.25 front and 1.5 rear option is the best option, and that’s what i’m going to be running on my hoss 3.0

Some people run them and are quite happy with them, however it is subjective as some people actually prefer. Stiffer ride and some don’t. The thing to keep in mind with any perch collar where the spring is compressed to add lift it will ride stiffer.

This is why the Zone lift has been popular, I believe Zone is owned by Fox corporation and they had input when designing the kit for the Hoss 3.0 shocks.

Hi Guys - I think this is the right thread for my questions - first time posting, so here goes:
I've got a '23 Wildtrak, HOSS 3.0. I've installed a fair amount of weight in the rear with AAL slides, shelf, Turn rear bumper, etc. Guessing about 200-250# net additional weight over stock. I've noticed and just measured, rear sits approx 1.5" lower than front now.
I'd like to level out or even get back to the stock rake I had.

I'm leaning towards changing out the rear springs vs. perch collars. Dobinsons have been recommended and I see Fox has them as well, though they might be too much (+500# load)

Any thoughts on new springs vs. any other method? Any Dobinsons vs. Fox vs. any other brand?

Yep best kit for the Hoss 3.0, that’s why Zone mixed the tiny spring perch with a spacer to balance the lift and keep the shock in the ride zone!
I'd be interested in this lift...but leave the spring collars on the work bench. I'd like to keep the by pass damping as Fox and Ford designed it, and I kinda a like the slight high rear rake of the stock shocks.

I agree however if your adding anything that will add weight up front like a bull bar, skids, etc that make the front end heavier than stock the spring perch’s might be beneficial to bring it back up to that sweet spot.

Eibach has lift springs for the 3.0...i know it's a lot more work, but I'd feel better getting back the ride height from winch/overland load-out with these rather than collars or spacers.
If it settled back down to stock, I'd be cool with the 👍🏻

I have this exact zone kit, I haven't installed it yet, been sitting in the garage since last December, and I was thinking of doing exactly what you mentioned, my WT has no rake like it did day one, I'm almost level after adding full protection plates underneath, full trailrax carrier, steel rear bumper and the extra weight of the tailgate reinforcement support and such. I was afraid that if I added the spring collar, that my front would ride higher than the rear, and I don't want a squatted look lol, no thank you. I mean, if I did end up using all the pieces (spacers and collars) and if it ended up having a higher front then the rear, I could always add a little bit more rear spacer to even it out. Just a thought of course.

I was also considering the Eibach lift springs...but for me, a 2 door, 2.3L with V6 4 door springs may work out nicely considering the weight I haul around (overland build).
Spacers I could install in my driveway but 4 coil over springs swapped...? I better start adding loose cash to the cookie jar!

Long shot here, has anybody installed the zone 2.25 kit and left off the spring collars? If so, let me know. Thanks!
