Does your big bend have HOSS 3.0 or are you just curiuos on perch collars on any Bronco suspension set up?

I am sure someone will chime in on the perch collar question.

What type of advice you looking for?

I got a set off facebook for 600$! i’m looking to install them but i want to have a lifted look also, from what i’ve read, the fox shocks are rated for the 2.7 instead of the lighter 2.3. so in theory, this would create a rake with the nose sitting higher than the rear. my question is, if i were to install perch collars, 2.25” front and 1.5” rear respectfully, would this theorically give a leveled and lifted look?

Do yourself a big favor and do not ruin the ride quality you get from the Fox Hoss 3.0 shocks by using perch collars, they ride awesome and unless your planning on adding some weight to the front end then they are good as is, if your going g to add weight then just get some Eibach springs to get some lift back. You would be better off selling the Hoss 3.0 shocks and saving to get some King or Fox coilovers and UCA for a proper lift.

I’m not against spring perch lifts on the Bronco’s with the Bilstein shocks since they already ride a bit rough but the Hoss 3.0’s have position sensitive damping, get out of that zone and they will ride harsh and you will loose downtravel.

nope nonsas
So, just installing the HOSS 3.0, you will get a lift over the nonsas setup you originally had. They came with a small rake, mine only had a differnce of 1/2" rake, I would assume smaller engine upfront would make it ride a little higher and possibly have no rake at all. Perch collars would stiffen the ride, and the way the 3.0 is tuned, the ride is a beaut!

This kit works with HOSS, fits 37's, and will retain position sensing of the fox

I am on 2.5/2.25 collars and it sucks. Even with the 2.7, I have rake. I am swapping to the Zone kit myself

Yep best kit for the Hoss 3.0, that’s why Zone mixed the tiny spring perch with a spacer to balance the lift and keep the shock in the ride zone!
Yupp. Just sucks they took so long to do it. Now I wasted money on the collars and install, and have to waste more removing em and installing the zone, lol. I talked with them for months asking if they were gonna do it before I pulled the trigger on the collars.
