Just had the rear cap on my 23 replaced due to cracking around the rear windows, for those of you that think you don't have these look carefully and frequently, some of them on mine I couldn't see most of the time only in certain light at certain angles, by the time they finally got the...
I just had my rear section replaced, lets see how long it lasts, the dealer told me they had 3 others there for the same thing. At this point I am really shocked there isn't a class action lawsuit on these tops since they are all bad. Id be willing to bet there are thousands of people out there...
For those of you that have had the dealer replace your hard top (rear section) how long did it take the dealer to replace it? My dealer is stating 2 days...
I agree however if your adding anything that will add weight up front like a bull bar, skids, etc that make the front end heavier than stock the spring perch’s might be beneficial to bring it back up to that sweet spot.
Some people run them and are quite happy with them, however it is subjective as some people actually prefer. Stiffer ride and some don’t. The thing to keep in mind with any perch collar where the spring is compressed to add lift it will ride stiffer.
This is why the Zone lift has been popular...
Do yourself a big favor and do not ruin the ride quality you get from the Fox Hoss 3.0 shocks by using perch collars, they ride awesome and unless your planning on adding some weight to the front end then they are good as is, if your going g to add weight then just get some Eibach springs to get...
Same here, I have the grey ones and there too dark I would like a clear also.
I don’t even mind the logo so much except one of mine is crooked and it drives me nuts!
You can DM me to purchase. Mine are different than the Barns design as they fit precisely over the stock bumpers, the Barns design replaces the stock bumpers. Mine look more like the stock bumpers and you do not need to completely remove the spare to install them, just slide the spare back a...
Sorry I sell these, I’ve don’t that in the past where I shared my designs to communities like this only to end up with people selling them on eBay and marketplace.
Considering I was born around the time when the 1st gen Bronco was released I’d say I’m old enough to remember many instances of burning my bum on vinyl seats!
Well every time I get in it after my wife drives it I want to pull my hair out trying to get my seat back in the right spot! It’s not a luxury it’s a connivence! And seats get
Really hot when the top is off in the summer.
All I know is at this price point, which is likely to be going up, I won’t buy another Bronco unless it has heated AND cooled seats with memory function.
Yea I get using PLA for prototyping as it is easiest to print with and holds its dimensional accuracy well. For that purpose it’s fine (and inexpensive too) but in a car over time it will fade and look really bad not to mention if it gets really hot it will melt. ASA on the other hand is UV...
I’ve been modeling and 3D printing for over 12 years and your design and print look good. I can’t really say that for most of the prints/designs I see people trying to sell.
I just hope you didn’t print that out of PLA. ASA is what you want for something like that.
I designed a spare tire bumper extension that is 3D printed from durable and flexible TPU, it fits over the stock bumper perfectly and doesn’t even require you to completely remove the spare to install it.
Slide the wheel back a bit and align the grooves and push it on, tighten up the wheel nuts...
Do tire shops need to remove the beauty rings when removing/installing tires? I'm going in this weekend to have my wheels swapped and of the rings have to come off I'm going to do it myself before I take it in, no way I trust they will do it without damage!
