Good points with your comments about the shocks.
I'm not asking about what's "higher ranked" in the status sense, though -- I mean in the sense that Badlands is now going to be materially better in every dimension, whereas the current situation is that there are tradeoffs (WildTrak = better...
Cool. So it is, in fact, different than anything currently on WT.
It really sounds like they're making Badlands the top trim in all categories, then (BRaptor, notwithstanding). I'd assume the LV shocks are better than the current WT ones.
I would get the Bronco.
As a 38-YO man when I brought my first Bronco 2 years ago, I also had never owned a special car or one that I even cared much about.
But wow -- I absolutely love the Bronco. In fact, I love it so much that I actually upgraded a year later to a WildTrak because I had...
Yea it’s just the picture I’m sure. I actually thought the same until I measured and saw it in person — it’s perfectly level on passenger side and has 1/8” rake on the driver’s side … and that’s due to my previously-unused tire being rotated into driver’s rear spot.
That's IMO. Maybe post a thread to ask about it. But the lift springs would be generally useful if you're steadily carrying more load, like a winch, heavier bumper, etc.
If I were to do a winch, I’d probably look at lift springs instead of this lift. I like the height and feel of this, but I wouldn’t guess the overall performance would be right with added weight all the way out front.
I forgot to come back!

IMPRESSIONS
* Ride a little firmer, but no less comfortable.
* You feel bumps a *tiny* bit more.
* Brake dive noticeably reduced
* I can’t comment about articulation or travel, but at high speed offroad, the shocks still respond great.
* Ride...
It’s actually incredible that the RR is only $57k. I would love to have a Braptor, but I would much rather have a RRaptor plus $35k in the bank.
How’s the ride quality? And any sense for how big you could go on the tires?
So I know this is technically not street legal. But would you actually get pulled over for driving this on the roads? Here in TX, I’d think you’d be fine.
(At least this will be my argument to the wife.)
I've got an unused (but opened) Kicker Key 200.4.
Why I'm selling?
Because I'm an idiot, frankly.
I had bought one on Ebay (when they were hard to find) and I *thought* it was defective, so I ordered a new one from Best Buy. In the meantime, some googling revealed to me that the switches...
Has anyone here seen the Oxford White wheels in the wild? Or seen a picture, installed? I've always been curious about these ones (though, I wish there were a 0 offset version)
I get them too.
My recommendation: Keep a pair of Mechanix gloves in your … well … glove compartment.
They are great for lots of purposes, including hard top removal.
I honestly can't believe I was ever "in the market" for one of these -- but I guess that's when it was like $70-75k for the "base" Braptor. The price increases were so insane that it's now in the "never would I ever buy this" territory.
They are sick--don't get me wrong. But I just can't afford...
