Hello!

Had a few buddies asking how I installed the Wolfbox into my Bronco Raptor and am going to make a post explaining as much as I can!

Total Install Time: 4.5 hours

Materials Used:
Mirror
4 Fuse Tap (If not already included/purchased)
Mirror Mount
Rear Mount (If mounting In spare)
1 small bolt for rear camera

Install:
First thing I did was install the fuse connections
***EDIT*** Changed the fuses to 37 and 25 for constant power
After disconnecting the battery, use these little guys and connect the red (ACC) to fuse 37 and the yellow (BAT) to fuse 25. You just remove whatever fuse is currently in that spot, place it into the empty slot shown below

There is a nice spot for the ground right outside of the panel:

I reconnected the battery at this point to check that everything was working.
Then you need to pull some plastic panels. Reference this IAG install video for their dome lights on removing the driver side and passenger side panels.
Ignore steps regarding the dome light wiring
No need to pull rear driver side trim off, the rear camera cable will be routed to the back via the passenger side
Pay attention to the routing of cables behind the airbags/ brackets
Here is a video explaining where I ran the wiring
The only tool I used once the trim was removed was a trim tool to force the wires out of sight
Once the wires are in the back the mount for the camera is fairly self explanatory. Before I installed the camera I did modify the Crutchfield mount slightly by drilling a bigger hole in both the Wolfbox provided camera mount and the Crutchfield mount to fit a slightly larger bolt than the ones provided by Wolfbox.

If you're running the camera to the spare, then the rear tire needs to be removed. Place the rear mount bracket from on the spare lugs then adjust the mount as best you can. I got some help once I installed my tire back on. While I was lifting it back on I had someone adjust the camera mount to make sure it fit between the wheel spaces. As you can see below it fit, but was a little close to the top.

That's it! From there I just adjusted the mirror and cameras to make sure everything looked good to go!

Why did you decide to not use #3

It wasn’t providing constant power if you want to choose the sentry mode. I turn sentry mode off an only enable it when I feel it’s necessary though because it will eat into the battery.

I want to give people an alternative location for the rear camera as I did with my DIY install.
This is the finished view. No issues at night or day and no vibration.

I had to make my own bracket from material I had sitting around and wiring was simple.

Again this is all contained inside the rear window.

Hope this helps someone with their install

I am looking to do the same, but did you hook up the rear cam to the reverse light power line, or is there no reason to do that? If you did, where did you tap into it?

It is really easy to hook-up/tap into, the instructions will tell you where, but I did not as we already have the backup camera and seemed pointless.

makes sense - was also thinking I didn't need it, but wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something... thanks!

I found that I needed the anti-glare film. The mirror/monitor is highly reflective, many people will turn it off and use it like a mirror. Not I. Also I am a MAC user and the format is totally unreadable. The company doesn’t seem to care. Oh well….

I too found that the OEM SD card in my G900 Tri Pro could not be read by my Mac, but I found this solution posted in another forum:

1. Using a card reader on your Mac open the Disk Utility app and insert the SD card in the reader.

2. Erase the card and reformat using the MS-DOS (FAT) format.

3. Unmount the card from the Mac and insert it into the Wolfbox unit.

4. Allow the camera to format the card again, click CONFIRM.

I bought an extra microSDXC card (256GB SanDisk High Endurance, Amazon $23) and formatted it like this. I then did the same with the WolfBox OEM card. Both cards work fine in my Tri Pro and both work fine on my Mac. The camera format renames the card “NO NAME” and sets up folders for the various video files. I can play those .MP4 files on my Mac without any other software.

Why this works, I don’t know, as MS-DOS (FAT) is for small cards.

I tried most of this with no success, but I’ll tried his sequence. The sad thing is that I have a series of videos from the wolfbox of driving Going-to-the-sun road (Glacer Park) in Montana. My Mac can’t read them. 🙁

Lots of great content for wiring power but I haven’t seen pics or discussion where to connect red wire from camera to reverse light wire. Any one got pics or steps?

I followed your recommended install (thanks for posting)
Using fuses 25 and 37 as appropriate and nearby bolt for ground BUT using Fuse 37 I now get CHECK PARKING SENSOR message and don't have wheel heat or charger? (I understand they are all part of 37)
Anybody else see this? or as usual "what did I do wrong?"

Nope, not yet
25 seems fine
But I loose all those functions if I use 37???

And w/o a Yellow Wire connection, the mirror is always on...

I ended up doing the constant on fuse #3, and ACC on #35 that I saw someone do in a YouTube video. Took away the error so far (knock on wood) and the mirror powers on and off with ignition.
