I am getting ready to order a new set of wheels and tires. I'm sure this has been addressed and answered. But what offset would be best for the wheel and tire to be flush or slightly inside the fender flare? I don't want it outside the flair. Also, I'm considering using a 10" rim.
2023 Bronco Wildtrak. Sasquatch package. Stock height currently

Please and thank you for your information

Depends on the tire size ultimately.

For the typical 8.5" rim you're looking at an offset between 0 and +30. At 0 offset, the wheel itself will be roughly in-line or slightly in (varies on the wheel design) from the fender, but the tire itself may poke beyond the fender depending on the tire size.

I would think more about keeping a good scrub radius. Then worry about the fender flares.

https://tiresize.com/wheel-offset-calculator/

While learning about offset, should you decide to educate yourself,
....... you'll discover that the calculator I linked to above doesn't even ask for the wheel width because when using the center line as the point of reference, wheel width has very little effect on where the tire will ride within the wheel well area.
The tire beads may move in or out a bit, but the tire tread will still be aligned to the center of the wheel.

35 x 11.5 - 17

Wow, nice to see someone else who understands suspension geometry. It’s a rarity!

Kingpin axis might be around 60-70 degrees in camber plane wrt ground surface. Estimated from base non SAS with 30s on 55mm offset to SAS with 34.4s on 30mm offset.

Tan^-1 [ 0.5(34.4-30) / (25/25.4) ]

So about a 10-12 mm laterally outward location for every 1” increased tire radius. To keep close to OEM scrub radius, assuming SAS on 35s with 30 mm offset, then maybe (rough math); 15-20 mm offset for 37s, and 0-5 mm for 39-40s.

8.5 with +12 for Squatch fenders... Zero has a small amount of poke. You can also do +25 if you want them to stay slightly under the Squatch fender.
