Suspension install price?

I contacted my local 4x4 shop for an estimate to install 4 new Bilstein 6100 and to swap the springs over from the old Bilsteins . The price they gave was 1775.00 , this is just labor and not including the new shocks . Is this really high ? Or is it just me ?

A ballpark labor estimate is $250/per corner without upgrading TREs and UCAs. And that is for a fully assembled coilover. Disassembling your old shocks and using the springs requires additional labor.

Any install should include alignment and readjusting headlights.

Your estimate is on the high side presuming the UCAs and TREs aren't being upgraded.

If that includes an alignment, the use of the correct tools, and no damage to the aluminum control arms or CV axles, that's a fair price. I do all of my own work to ensure this is the case.

Yeap, had it done by lifetime in Gray. They're the only place I'll go if I'm paying to have work done.

I will let you know in a couple weeks, mine is going in for surgery the day after Christmas to have Eibach pro truck 2.0 coil overs installed.

I was quoted $1,050 labor to install Eicbach 2.0 coilovers, new UCAs, and an adjustable panhard bar. This also includes an alignment.

I called a local 4x4 shop familiar with Bronco installs. For all 4 corners, I was quoted 6 hours at $185/hour + $150 for alignment. That's $1,260 Canadian pesos, so probably $1,000 USD tops.

Too high for sure! When I 1st got my Bronco I got a $1.3k estimate to install a 2" lift not including cost of lift. I ended up doing it myself. With proper tools it was actually easy and I walked away knowing that it was installed perfectly and bolts torqued to spec.

Exactly how and why I started doing my own work years ago. I couldn't afford to ridiculous labor prices and I had seen why too much shoddy work. The old saying "if you want it done right, do it yourself" applies.

Just had my local off road shop install Eibach pro truck stage 2 coil overs on all 4 corners. Total including parts and alignment was $2,890. Definitely could have done it myself cheaper but I don’t mind paying for the peace of mind of having it done by someone who knows suspension better than I do.
