My dealer has been great, I have not done any drive line changes as of yet though. It's a freeing feeling vice keeping it stock while worrying or fighting with them to cover something & they work so hard to deny![]()
Great to hearMy dealer has been great, I have not done any drive line changes as of yet though.
I hear you on not being my only transport.Great to hear. Others have not been so lucky so it really depends on the dealer.
The dealer I took mine to for just an alignment (Reports of a lot of shops not having the specs at the time) started spouting off a bunch of nonsense on how this & that isn't going to be covered blah, blah, blah before I really started getting into the truck. They ended up wasting > 2hrs of my time & couldn't do the alignment and sent me to the shop I was originally going to go to.
My situation is also a bit different as mine is not my sole source of transportation & if things go south it can sit until I get around to fixing it as I'm all in with it.
Back to my original thought, it's freeing to enjoy my truck as I wish & not worry about the warranty holding me back as it would expire in years before miles for me anyway so how covered was I to begin with![]()
YMMV.
Hope it is!! Keep us posted!! All I run is 93. Except when we drove to the keys..... mixed every other tank as 87... this thing does horrible at 80mph on mpg... my almost 8k lb f350 gets better at 75 mph loaded!Just put 91 octane in for the first time. This thing better be a rocket ship.
I have a BD with Advanced 4x4 and do not have to slow down to put into 4Hi.Well that's disappointing, I wonder if this is only a program issue for us part time 4wd transfer case people, they must have thought the transfer case can't handle that. Wonder if they also do it on BD with advanced 4x4 with the m190.
That's just crazy! I can see a change to maybe delay the programmed shifting in some cases, Like if your accelerating hard, But to require a complete stop just seem stupid...This is brand new as of Pro Cal tune install. 4hi somehow is requiring 4lo activation speed to engage.
