I have a base model and installed the rough country hidden winch. Not bad for what it's worth.

Just installed a badlands apex and buckleup offroad winch plate/Bull bar today. Also installed the maximus-3 frame reinforcement plates.

Did you have to drill these holes bigger to get the bolts to fit through or did you thread them into the frame? I have these but seems like the holes are too small for the bolts.

Maybe it's just the photo's angle, but those supports look upside down!

The brackets are asymmetrical and rise above the frame. I don’t think you can install them any other way given the outside has a notch for alignment and the inside doesn’t.

No worries, must be the angle of the photo...I'm about to install the ADD brackets, but I have a damaged frame horn, it's pushed back about 3/16" and winching it doesn't fix this and I doubt a sledge would work either!

Curious how you damaged the frame horn. Visually they look very thin, especially compared to these from Maximus-3.

First week of ownership...
Hit a stump in a snow bank.
Not very hard but pushed back the frame horn 1/8-3/16" on the frame and bent the mod bumper.
Hooked a come-a-long to the neighbor's tree and pulled the bumper straight. It's not perfect but hardly noticeable, but I fear I'm going to need to address this when I add the supports..

Personally I think Ford kind of screwed this one up, with cameras and sensors and an elegant winch set up, which they had to see coming.

I've never had a 360 camera setup in a vehicle before, and with almost 40 years of driving behind me, I can say you don't NEED it, but much like blind spot monitoring, once you have it, it's really nice to have. I'm sort of amazed how useful it is, in many situations.

What I'm saying is, it's easy to say, I can do without it, but if you already have it, I wouldn't be so quick to block it. I personally like the Lobo set up, (I don't have a winch ..yet) but every set up has downsides and tradeoffs, including weight.
I also like the rear winch set ups out there, but I really wonder if when you need it the most, it's just in the wrong location to help, making it worthless. Maybe not, maybe it's just a different way of doing things - I honestly couldn't say, but that's my gut instinct.
Just depends which end of your vehicle ends up buried in the ditch! 😎 “Do ya feel lucky, punk?”

I run a Warn Elite Front bumper with a Warn Winch. It has remote and plug-in capabilities. I moved my ACC with the kit. Everything works fine, and my front camera is also functional.

This looks really good. Could you post some more photos of the winch bumper setup? Side and top view?

I would like a winch too but every time I start going over all the options and the different tradeoffs I end up with a headache. I should make a spreadsheet or go to a bronco event to see them in person.

It’s too bad there’s not a readymade rear winch option. Adding 70+ pounds to an already nose-heavy vehicle doesn’t sound fantastic to me.
