If you have all the same holes that it requires, I’m not sure why it wouldn’t work it really is a very simple design. hopefully someone on the forum has an answer for you because I do think this looks better than the besttop which is what I also considered. I also know that the four-door has a...
that’s kind of the best part that you can’t really tell you have anything, but the picture above just has the top part with the windows stored in the top itself. Attached is the PDF of the instructions and a picture with the panel above the driver folded. Here is a link with more pictures...
I just installed this and I absolutely love it. Not only do I think it looks the best because it just turns into a Safari top but also the ability to store the windows within the top itself is also convenient. The price is good because I was able to find mine on eBay for about $500 less but if...
That’s definitely my wife. Likes the looks of the wrangler and also the looks of the R2. But after driving my Bronco she noticed the difference in handling and how much more comfortable the IFS is. Also always says it’s small and likes the wider seats of the Bronco even if mine is a 2 door. TBD...
Sounds like what people said about Tesla 10 years ago, and then the model 3 was released. That being said, Rivian is looking to sale around 60K R2s, and least one of those sales will come from the Wrangler :)
We own both a Bronco and Wrangler, about to trade in the Wrangler for a Rivian R2, curious if there will be cross shopping with the R2 and the Bronco/ other Ford SUVs going fwd.
I bought this one from Amazon about 2 years ago and have been very happy with it. The only issue is the letters don’t match the OEM ones which is usually the case with after market grills so I bought OEM letters separately. https://a.co/d/06xGIvIG
I didn’t realize how much i would love this vehicle. I bought a black 2 door big bend in 2024 which was considered a base version that year. I would have spent an extra $15k and bought a 2 door red heritage with manual transmission instead. Didn’t realize they would cut down the 2 door trims so...
Looking for the crash bars with bolts that go behind the front wheels. Mine were removed by the dealership so I don’t have them. If anyone removed them and doesn’t need them, please let me know. I can pick up in the San Diego area.
The initial install “might” take an hour. But really you are just removing 4 bolts and placing a holding pin which stays there when your roof panels are installed. After this initial install and removing the roof panels, it takes all of 10 seconds per side to clip these into place.
5 seconds...
lol, yes. That’s one way to look at it.
For me it’s to enjoy more open air driving while not having my Bronco look incomplete. Normally this has a reverse mullet effect. Business in the back, messed up in the front. It looks weird to me with the roll bar and then the roof.
I wanted to post a few thoughts and pictures of these roof rail covers since I haven’t seen too much about them and only recently found out they even exist. I was able to purchase the 2 door version on eBay.
The good:
-It’s a great idea. I disliked the look of the Bronco when only the front...
I have the honey comb and I have a 2024 with 18k. I kinda thought this was normal. Do you think you could have someone primer and paint the top to fill in the small cracks, imperfections, or would that paint just crack?
You’re right, it is. According to their website it just requires what it says below.
“Note: Steel Capable Factory Bumper- Requires replacing D-rings w/ factory tow hooks.”
Question, did you paint the horn reinforcement parts? Do you think they will rust?
I’m pretty sure the removable winch is only for the capable bumper at the moment. I really like the removable aspect of it, I’ve been looking for a removable saddle from my wrangler too and I’m surprised this isn’t really a thing from what I’ve seen. I haven’t been able to find one for a...
