When the everglades first came out I was no that interested in it as a tri level option, but now with the complex 9 trim levels and what is allowed an options and not allowed as options on each trim, the Everglades is looking better and better.
Yes, but it is not comparable. This 1973 did not even come with a radio and it had the smallest narrowest tires I have ever seen, but I am sure they were normal for the time. There was no passenger side mirror I guess that was an option skipped. no center console. No shoulder belts, no roll bar...
Great video and that looks like a fun trail. The front camera makes such a great addition, it really should be available on more trim levels. Looks like you have your Bronco setup really well.
From a 1973 Bronco, the rear seat was a $94 option. The v8 was $124. I guess MPG was not a thing on window stickers at the time. But a second gas tank was a $37.90 option. Such a different world.
and a photo of the Bronco
That is a great location for a hi-lift. out of the way so it does not take up space that would be used for other things yet easy to get to.
So it looks like this works for both the 2 door and the 4 door.
The fender trim
And looks like Toyota is regressing on the off road ability with worse approach departure and breakover angles.
But I am sure it will sell well.
I was hoping it would be something that would make Ford improve the Bronco, but I don't think it will.
On the trucks infotainment system there is a setting for insurance data and the default is off. But check to make sure you did not turn it on by accident.
With every trip recorded and so many data leak events it would be best to turn this thing off. It is like insurance, you most likely will...
Moving things over from the China market Bronco would not be a surprise. But it may take another year to get rolled out here.
Everyone else keeps getting the new ranger before we do.
Ya the advanced 4wd is too advanced for it's own good.
There are posts of where the advanced 4wd stops working partway though a trail so you only have 2wd but then randomly starts working when on the pavement.
Simple but reliable would be my choice.
Not a scientific test but I've looked up a bunch of posts here on 6g and all the ones that had the 4wd not available error and then lost 4wd were with the 4 wheel auto transfer case.
I think this is the best answer to mount a tablet. Does not block your view. Holds a tablet and phone. The hand hold should be plenty strong. looks like it has a rail mount to add even more.
Thank you for sharing this setup.
The loss of a cup holder is the only downfall. I only go off roading about once a month, I have the tablet holder in place for only that time. On a older off road vehical I used in the past I had a mount bolted in place, but I am not going so often now. I would like to see what you come up with.
I have a tablet holder that fits in a cup holder. So the tablet is next to the shift lever. So it is not in line of sight, it works for me.
Something kind of like this.

Yes, Oates never saw the light of day. I wonder what it would have been?

The heritage did come out.
Something is making interference. But it could be anything, electronics are everywhere and everything has a switching power supply. It could even be someone's LED porch light gone bad.
