For those of you that went the OEM mount route, did you receive the Ford Performance fairlead? I did not seem to get it in the box

Yes, it was not in the Warn box as that had the Warn fairlead in it. I believe it was mixed in somewhere with the boxes for the mount and supplies. For those of you that went the OEM mount route, did you receive the Ford Performance fairlead? I did not seem to get it in the box
Thanks for the confirmation. How long ago did you buy yours? I wonder if maybe this practice stopped after one of the recent price reductions? But I went through every carton inside of the box, as some of them are just empty for space filling, and it does not appear to be there. They disable the parking sensors because the factory mount doesn't have provisions for the sensors. 1-1/8" step drill solves that easily! With the OEM setup? No modifications needed? I read they had to disable those and the parking sensors?
The Maximus 3 would look janky compared to the OEM option! For me, once my 3yr/30k warranty expires, I’ve decided I will relocate the intercooler to fit a hammer built hidden winch. Most major engine manufacturing issues are caught in the first 30k miles. But they will blame everything on the aftermarket intercooler (no warranty).
The OEM setup is by far the best deal. I just don’t like the added length or looks.
The rough country hidden winch requires cutting the frame. Those frame extensions are crumble-zones for crash purposes. Cutting them off will likely compromise safety.
Another interesting option is the maximus-3 detachable winch. You can remove it when not needed.
Not going to lie this is sexy as hell...but my pocket book wont support it at the moment =( Going to take me a bit to save up the addition. We have our new hidden winch mounts ready to ship guys.
they fit with OEM modular and capable bumpers! Require and intercooler upgrade which also gives you more consistent power and better responsiveness.![]()

Absolutely LOVE mine! Well designed (structurally) and easy install! Mine is on a Capable bumper... And YES the addition of the little light is helpful to be able to watch the winch line layering. We have our new hidden winch mounts ready to ship guys.

Can you please post a pic of where/ how you mounted the control box?I installed BAMF winch bumper and Warn winch. Control box and solenoid under hood. It doesn’t block camera, sensors moved to new bumper, (ACC can be relocated, but i don’t have one). I posted pics in another thread.

Cool. Thank you. Installing the Maximus 3 kit this weekend and want to do this.I used the BAMF relocation kit and bracket in front of battery. I mounted the isolator lower using new holes and rivnuts. Control box is mounted upside down. I connected isolator to unused aux lead directly in front of that area to Aux 3 switch. My hood has insulation panel so not as much space, a tight fit.
