New Style Oil Drain Plug?

I don’t mind people fucking with me. I’d rather not be worried my oil leaks after filling it than spend $12 bucks per oil change on a plug with new rings.

ford gives new o-rings you replace ever time on the filter housing so why would the o-rings on the plug not need to be replaced but the housing ones do?

Don't me wrong, I don't care and I don't think you should either. It's your call. I've personally never had an issue with a drain plug leaking in 32 years of driving, but I tempt the devil with that wag of the finger.
