Hi all,

After suffering from the OEM Bilstein reservoir failure issue early on (prior to recall) on my 2021 Four Door, non-sas badlands, I opted to get the Eibach's as a replacement. Now, about 60K miles later, the passenger rear has decided to leak and fail.

When I added the Eibach's, I also upgraded to ICON UCA's and a CORE 4x4 adjustable track bar (with relocation bracket), so I'm looking for some better replacement suggestions for the Coilovers.

On my prior wrangler, I had some MetalCloak components that I really liked the build quality of and I also had some Falcon Shocks on that vehicle that were fantastic. Wondering if anyone has any real world experience with the Falcon's for the Bronco or the MC Rocksports?

Looking for something that can keep me around the same amount of lift as the Eibach's at approx. 4". Vehicle is mostly on-road, about 80%, so I like the adjustability of these options, but I'm certainly open.

TIA for your help!

60K miles on any damper is great why not Eibach again? It's super high milage for aftermarket and testimony to great Eibach quality IMO.

My Bilstein B6 on Mustang were finished at 15K miles with total ride deterioration that started at 10K miles.

Two sets of Konis were finished at 1 mile being defective.

I'll suggest Bilstein 6100 series.
No personal experience with those on a Bronco or otherwise. I've ran their lower tier replacement stuff with no issues.
Their reputation is solid though, they make great (aftermarket) stuff.

Thanks everyone for the replies! Part of the reason I was interested in the Falcon's were that I had well over 100K miles on them without issue on my previous wrangler.

Getting roughly 60K on the Eibach's was about as far as I made it with the Bilstein OEM failure (I average around 30k miles/year), so I wanted something that hopefully would last longer.

Have you tried contacting Eibach? I think they have a limited lifetime warranty on the Bronco coilover kit, maybe it would be covered.

If you want to know about Falcon, ask about Falcon, not "give me recommendations" and then go on about wanting info on Falcon. I don't personally think there's that many people running Falcon on their 6g Broncos. But I could be wrong.

I'm completely open to suggestions, which is why I asked for them and helpful people here have been giving them. I stated I had interest in a few and had added why I had interest in the Falcon's from my experiences, but wanted other's input about those and other products to make a more informed decision.
I wasn't happy with the lifespan of the Eibach's, but I'm going to start with a warranty claim possibly to see what they say.

The main suspects have all been mentioned: 6100's, ProComp VSRT (previously 4WP), Eibach (ha ha). The 5100's are non-Sas but I'm not sure about the Badlands, since they fit the stock Bilsteins I would think you'd go Sas replacement. I want to say there's also a (non-Ford) Fox replacement that's about $1500 for the shocks but it hasn't gotten a lot of coverage here. Most of the others are more expensive, like Kings or ICONs or ADS or whatever. Or Bilstein 8112's or ICON CDEVs. lol 💰

The Bronco is heavier than the Jeep, so that may be why the shocks don't last as long as on Jeep. I've known several people with Falcon's on Jeeps and they loved them, but no feedback on how long they lasted. Every once in a while someone mentions them but I think I've only seen like 1-2 folks with them on the forum. I don't think they've done a lot to get them on Broncos.

Another option is Fox takeoffs or getting them new from Ford (a recent addition). A little pricey but if you're on the road all the time, they do ride better. Not sure how long they last.

I might suggest a shorter, more direct title: "Recommend 100k mile shocks (looking at Falcons but open)" When I opened the thread, all I read was "needing shock recommendations".

What milage did you get from EIBACH? Probably no warranty unless on the spring kit. IMO a majority of aftermarket is questionable mfg quality, and /or not compatible with other assy parts selected, and / or weak engineering since most have a minute fraction of OE engineering and testing power.

At least EIBACH is all in house.

Why not just go with Ford Performance you get a proven calibration and 3 year warranty which won't get on any Bilstein aftermarket that likely has zero actual warranty when go to claim.

To be honest; you're going to get a lot of recommendations on here. Because everyone will have an opinion on all sorts of brands that have and havent worked for them. Thats the best part of the community! But of course you have to find one that works best for you.

As most have stated; Eibach and Bilstein are going to be two of the most common ones out there. Of course the Eibach leaking is never ideal. And they may still try and help with a warranty for you on them. But from an out of the box performance stand point; the Eibachs are a pretty solid starting point.

Now you also mentioned Falcon and thats another brand that we are a big fan of. We have the new RT3 kit from Falcon that we will be putting on our shop Bronco when it arrives so we can give a hands on feel for how they ride on the Broncos. But from other applications we have built on; Falcon has always been a brand that we find is somewhat slept on.

If you need some help dialing things in anytime give us a buzz. We'd be happy to help dial in a kit that works best for you and give you some feedback on ones that we have tested to help guide you to a set up that fits you best.
