Hey @GPPBronco, when you say the nuts should be "slid forward", in which direction is "forward" to tighten the window seal? Are the held in a track/slot? Thx.
They're in a slotted track, and you want to slide them "outward" (away from the Bronco)

Yeah, or how about a fix for a cracked window. Every bump has me looking side-eyed at the window hoping it doesn't break.
This. Come on Ford. It’s been long enough

Yes, they’re in a track/slotted hardware. Loosen, slide toward the front of the vehicle (when the door is open), then retighten. This is where I learned about the fix:

This is great, been meaning to adjust mine. So far my windows are either fully open or fully closed to avoid the nasty rattle haha.

I love NWB, surprised I never saw this video! (edit) Actually, I have seen this video, and I did fix that problem. Problem I'm talking about is cracking the window on the highway and the window flops. It doesn't flop on closing anymore.

For those doing the adjustments as in the video. slide outward till you feel the resistance, then apply a little more pressure, and tighen. don't crush it.

Still haven't seen the OTA update for the windows... was it a 4 door only update?

I was hoping this was the change that dropped the windows automatically when you unlock the doors. Oh well.

When I went to the dealer last, I asked them to update the system, but that update didn't show as available for mine.
Really? I have a 2023 Heritage and I've done a few updates and my windows drop when I unlock with the fob.

I live on a dirt road. I can't roll up my windows while driving due to the bounce. Absolutely ridiculous.
This happens to me, especially irritating when at highway speeds. Try pulling the window switch only part way up (in the manual roll-up position) and releasing the switch just before it is fully closed. Window will stay in that position till you can reset it once stopped…

Is anybody else in the no-update club?

Mine has told me since last weekend that it would be installed at the next available opportunity. Then when I go out and check it in the morning it says it will be in stalled the NEXT available opportunity.

I have now manually kicked off the update at least five times, watching the countdown and listening to modules click away.....come back later and it STILL says it will install later.

I've been on a battery tender overnight in case that was the issue, it seems that my many small trips aren't loved by the recharging system. Maybe it's not going because the battery charge is too low?

Yeah, I think it came out for the '23s specifically at first. That may be why yours has it and not my '21.

Wasn't having window issues.
Until now.
Please fix what you fucked up!
Or should I say, fucked down?
Auto up should not result in a fucking window being open all the way. WTF FORD , thats a safety issue for many reasons
You fucked up my vehicle, remotely, again
Please Fix It, Thanks

The update made your windows worse? In what way?

Are you both sure you got the update? I haven't seen anyone else post that they actually got it yet

It updated last night. Was it the window update or something else? Don't know. But it updated last night.

The windows now roll up slower, and they still auto-roll down if I am driving on anything but the smoothest of pavement. Literally can't roll up my windows in my driveway unless I am stopped.

And of course, the compass is still broken.

Hoping this isn't a 4dr-only update. I've complained at length about my auto-up bouncing back and how vague the recalibration wording is, even taking it into the shop to see if they can adjust the window (Could Not Replicate, of course)
