Welcome to the Bronco world! As everyone has said check out the manual, watch YouTube by searching what you want to know and find a local Bronco group. Type up in the search bar on this forum what you want to know and you will find many things about it. Also do not get to wrapped up worrying about everything you see posted about everything being crap, you will worry way too much. I have about 36k on mine in under 2 years and the only thing that needed to be repaired was a hose from the intercooler. No issues with hard top cracking and it goes through auto wash bays weekly. Yes you will hear wind noise as you would any convertible top vehicle but that's why you bought it. So pop the top and enjoy this summer wheeling around.

I saw that sticker on the new Broncos on my dealer's lot. I guess they want you to take the top off if you want to go through a car wash.
I think it's obvious...
They want you to get a box with a QR code on it and then wash the top with a baseball glove.
If you look closely, it only applies to the first gen Bronco (2 door). Go crazy on your 'soccer-mom, mall crawler, 4 door' wagon.

Is this FORD covering their a-s? I did not see any of these on my local dealer that has 100's of '24,'25 Broncs on the lot. I've been taking mine through carwashes. Was that the first, bad MIC top?
I'm glad I clicked on this thread I don't think I've seen that sticker before and never knew. Probably a stupid question but does this effect the painted hard top as well?

A Guide in So Many Karate Kid Quotes

"Wax On, Wax Off." Don't wax the top.

"Fear Does Not Exist In This Dojo, Does It?" Some people have mo problems, some people no problems.

"You’re The Best Friend I’ve Ever Had." If your Bronco doesn't catch on fire or get hit by a crazy man with a gun, it's unlikely to leave you on the side of the road, unless it does.

"Don’t Know. Never Been Attacked By Tree." Bronco's can't take a hit from a tree, so avoid getting hit by trees.

"Never Put Passion Before Principle. Even If Win, You Lose." Jeep haters gonna hate cuz they got short end of stick now.

"Maybe Trouble Looking For You." Send or not to send, is not a question you should ask yourself.

"Live Or Die, Man?" You bought a Bronco, have fun but if stuff breaks, no crying.

"Hope Confusion End Soon, Daniel-San. Miyagi Heart Empty Without You." Cam phasers and hard top issues are a problem but overrepresented.

"Now The Real Pain Begins, Danny-Boy." You probably don't need those $8k shocks or portals, but what the hell, your wallet can take a punch.

"Was Most Unfortunate Their Butts Attached To Small Brain." Your wife will love your Bronco and everything you put on it with that secret credit card.

This was my first vehicle with an e-parking brake. The dealer guy couldn’t tell me how to disengage it.
I absolutely hate trying to find that brake. I have to practice using it occasionally to make sure I stay familiar with it in an emergency. While driving the e-brake switch is not easily visible so I think finding it in an emergency may be difficult. I'd prefer the hand pull on the console like on our Jeep or the foot pedal like on my F350 in an emergency.

I think they are worried about water leaks from the power jets and/or other brushes and tools used in drive-through washes. I did a quick tunnel wash last week and might have felt a little mist from the crack of the two front panels. I might not do that too often anymore.

It's a parking brake, not an emergency brake. Unless you're parking it in a hurry...

I hadn't heard about this and took mine through a car wash after the snow/ice storm to get the grossness off and I didn't notice any leaks. Are you really not supposed to take them through car washes?

Post pics and list model (if not obvious by side fender sticker).

Parking brake is easy, push left thumb down into hole, and it auto disengages when you tap on gas after putting in gear. Some of the original broncos had a push in instead of push out, you’ll figure it out.

Even if you’re not eligible for the free off-roadeo, pay for it, and learn all the ins and outs. There are both half and full days you can pay for, some you use theirs and some you use your own bronco. And like they said, join your local FB group.

My salesman went to the off-roadeo and was VERY knowledgeable. So, there are some good guys out there.

Post pics so we can start telling you what to buy, so you can get more confused. Then the real shenanigans can start.

My 2024 WT that I purchased this past January had the sticker.

I believe that sticker is just Ford doing the CYA (cover your ass) scenario. I have seen others here using protectant/chemicals on it without issues but I've seen others use a chemical and poof top has stains in it. Don't get me wrong I've used my pressure washer on my Bronco, just not on the top.

But I will also say that these tops are fragile, not like a fiberglass top. Seen them dropped and cracked the corner off. Be very careful when cleaning/removing/handling them. The Bronc might be build Ford tough but the top is not..... it is a weak Webesto.

you should see what happens when you wax them...

In all fairness , the folks who said not to put any type of wax on the tops were not totally wrong , lol.

Just don't pop the hood by mistake !

Silly place to put the E-Parking Brake lever .
