Having had the new ranger first I thought it would have been better in the Bronco form. The Ranger is a world car, but a medium sized truck for small people, most of us are not small people and the bronco cab is a better fit, taller roof, more back seat leg room etc.
More commonality of parts...
Marketing buzz words "international" "e-commerce", "casual wear" i.e chasing trends and low cost products to sell at Costco and higher end stuff to sell at their retail shops. It's like Ferrari making EVs to please everyone for a few more $$$. The generationally wealthy lumber jack is a very...
My bad, they used to be PE owned, now privately owned and part of Fossil brand umbrella, but last sold back in 2012 if AI search is to trusted. Gonna check out Costco to see if any bags are sold in Texas.
Filson being acquired by private equity who love cutting costs adding a new expenditure like that does not seem likely unless it is just licensing their name like they did with Ford whom was going to make trucks anyways.
PNW seems obvious for a Roadeo, but wonder why Ford has not. Land price...
Ford's Ranchero EV might scratch the same itch and be at a service shop we already know from our Bronco's. A little truck to save our Broncs for the fun miles. I like the DIY interchangeable parts on this Slate though, pickup to fast back. The PPE plastic dumpster doors and bed (a la GM Saturn)...
We wanted mini trucks for mini prices. A Slate for Maverick money and less specs and service is hard.
I have a Slate reservation but am not sure i'll build it/order.
The Telo looks like the cute 1962 Ford Econoline, but I am afraid that company will Canoo without the Bezos bucks Slate has.
'24, 61k still on first but has a 6" crack from a month ago that I will keep until I get more. I'll try a glue kit first before bothering my insurance co.
It's cool for a Bronco, but will never be Land Rover-esque. I can see two rich lumberjacks buying it for it's intended use and a lot of posers trading in their OBX or heritage for this on a two-year lease to have the new thing until the next thing to hit the golf links and car pool lanes.

The MGV seats (mid trim) are fine as long as you don't take the roof off and leave it in the sun. You can always get some Carhart cloth covers or something. I had cloth on my XLT and could stem them to get sweat and stains out, but the vinyl in the Bronco is easy to clean and sit on wet without...
Mine was born 10/24 before that bad batch I guess.
I wonder what they adjusted that made it bad. Pros and cons of tweaking engines during a product cycle and shipping them to new models.
My 2019 Ranger 2.3 had problems too they claimed to have addressed for the Bronco.
I have been getting email notices every day.
Not sure if I'll commit yet, at least my early reservation brought the next payment down to $250 instead of $900.
The letterbox windscreen does not leave a good view for a phone. I have bought a few, but keep it below the dash and it hangs off the vent and keeps the phone cool(why are Bronco vents so twisty?). Anything above the dash really gets in the way. I do have the sliding rack from ebay for a action...
