👋🏼 I have an issue with a horn honking while driving-
Same time every morning (6:22) my horn horns THREE fast bursts. It won’t do it if stopped, but will once I start moving again. No alerts pop on the screens. I’ve used both FOBs and have placed it on the dash to get a good signal.
I spoke to the head service advisor at Galpin Ford… he never heard of such a thing Just seeing if anyone else has this issue before I go to the dealer.
Car is equipped with KARR
THANKS!

Do you have Ford SYNC connected to a smartphone? It could be your phone has an alarm set for 6:22.

Turn off the connection to your smartphone and see if the honking goes away.

Thanks Calvin. Good try but I couldn’t find a correlation. One think I forgot to mention is the Tim this happens slowly creeps forward in time (consistently). When I first noticed it was happening at the same time it was at 6:19 and has slowly crept up to 6:23 over the last month or so. Crazy. Next… disconnect battery

What is KARR?
I would say the KARR is the problem. This is quoted from Google A.I

"The "KARR" system mentioned in relation to the Ford Bronco is a dealer-installed security and convenience package, not a factory feature. It's designed primarily for dealership use to manage and control vehicles on the lot, with limited benefits for the consumer. The KARR system often includes a kill switch and a single fob for multiple vehicles, but it doesn't offer significant security enhancements for the vehicle owner."

Unless it's a condition of your purchase or something I'd ask for it to be removed for starters. I've never heard anything factory that's caused a horn to honk that fast 3 times

One of my previous vehicles, can remember which, would do this if the battery was low, to alert you. Not a standard feature in Bronco, but maybe that is something baked into KARR. In any case, that add-on system is def probably the culprit.
