Factory Fog Light Switch

Maybe I’m missing something here. I installed the Oracle triple fog light kit in amber. For now I used the 4x4 TRUCK LED quick connect harnesses to connect each side to the fog light switch harness near each tow hook in the front. Bought the correct factory fog light switch. Made all the changes listed here in the BdyCm, IPC and BdyCM as built (0101). The lights will not come on. The indicator lights up on the dash but I’m not getting power to the fogs. Am I missing a.step somewhere?

Try changing it to 0303

Tried that as well- no change so I put it back on 0101. Thanks for the suggestion!

I’m wondering if the harness is not connected somewhere. Going to trace it soon. Wouldn’t surprise me if that got missed at that factory,

Reset all settings to before and then re-input them- no joy. Every time I try to load my saved profile that I saved the first time I connected to FORSCAN, it asks me about the transmission type. Not messing with that! Any idea what that’s about?

Not sure, can you post all the changes you made in Forscan for the front fogs?

Which string of numbers in the BdyCm are you changing to the 0101 sequence, give me the complete string please?

For 726-42-01: the ”0101” is for Fog Cornering, I have it set as “0303”

I'm in a similar situation but when I tried to change from 0101 to 0303 I got an error for the auto checksum. Sorry if this is a basic Forscan question but am I doing something wrong or just continue?

You're avatar looks like you have the Park Aid sensors in the front bumper, If they work, then you've got all the correct wiring harnesses in place, the harness runs back to C192 from the front, and from C192 back to C203, then from 203 to the connector on the actual BdyCM if you wanted to trace them out.

So the total amp draw of these fogs is 7.5. Is that too much for the fog light switch circuit? I’ve seen folks running 6-6.5 amps with no issues. I’m going to eventually wire one light per side to the switch and two per side to aux switch 2 but didn’t have time this weekend so just plugged them in temporarily to the front harness,

Look at the pic from an old post. There are a few places where you need to "enable" the settings as well. I had the same issue at first.
