Does the heritage have the auxiliary up fitter switches? I believe the Everglades comes with them. It’s an option on the heritage. Could it be possible the up fitter switches is the call for the larger battery? Just guessing.
Thank you, that's a thought.
No, this Heritage does not have aux switches. I bought it off the lot for my wife so she doesn't need it. Of course had I ordered it, I would have spec'd that. Aux switches are standard on MY2025 Heritages.......will be interesting to see what battery my forthcoming MY2025 Heritage 4-door is fitted with.

From the Owners manual, the battery is different if you have the aux switches or the aux switches and a winch vs neither of them.

Thank you! You are a gentleman and a scholar.
I think JX6T-10655-AA is the old part number (2015-2023) for BAGM-48H6-760. Customers complained of short life.
I'll be replacing the 760 with the 800 when it fails.

Could be, was from my 2023 manual. Still shows that depending on the options gets you a different battery.

Just to confirm, I have an early 2024 Heritage with the Upfitters switches as an option and it came with the 800 amp battery.

I want to warmly thank everyone here for helping me to figure this out. The great members here are truly a fountain of knowledge.

Just saying, I would like to add aux switches to my wife's Heritage, but my loose understanding is the wiring harness may not be there since it wasn't ordered with the aux switch option.

Just look. The wires will be in the driver's side near the firewall. I believe the same wire harness is used for all Broncos. You just don't have the switches.

This well done video claims one needs to change the fuse box and ceiling wiring harness, in addition to adding the aux switch panel. Ford really makes it an expensive mod. I wish Ford Accessories offered a kit.

Overhead Trim Panel: M2DZ-78519A70-JC (Includes 6 Aux Switches)
A-Pillar Wire Harness: M2DZ-14335-J
Fuse Junction Panel Assembly (Fuse Box): MB3Z-14A068-Z

Prices out around $600.

I figured that part was understood. Your earlier statement only mentioned the wiring harness. You didn't specify which one. The AUX wires themselves exist on all Broncos whether you order the switches or not.

Understood. Thank you.

I was able to glean the pre-wire layout from this video at 2:00.

The earlier Middleton Motorsports video is a good one. There was a thread here that they posted when they first did the video. Probably can just search their posting history to find it quick.

JX6T-10655-AA is the engineering number.
BAGM-48H6-760 is the service part number.
There have been no changes because of short life.

I miss the old wedge block hold downs. You could throw a huge range of batteries in there and it would still work.
