Hey I want to fit 35s on my base outer banks and the local shop says they have some aluminum spacers they could put on there for 1k parts and labor.

I’m not mechanically inclined. Is this a good price and is spacers bad for my car?
It’s 2 inch spacers btw

Wheel spacers or suspension spacers?

Suspension I’m sorry
Many have top hat spacer lifts however not the best solution if you plan to wheel. 2" of lift is going to put extra stress on CV angles and premature wear. You'll be OK on pavement.

Also, you won't need 2" of lift to clear 35s...less lift = less stress on the CVs. Top hat spacer kits are offered by many and relatively inexpensive....$1,000 parts & labor seems a bit high IMO. Shouldn't take much more than hour per corner to install the spacers.

Also, depending on what wheel offset and tire width you may need wheel spacers as well.

I really never plan on going off roading . Maybe once in sand dunes but that’s a huge exception. And I bought some OEM Sasquatch rims and tires so what size spacer is minimum for what I need in your opinion?
I really love my car and don’t want to break anything so if you think spacers are a bad idea I would rather not do it and leave it stock until I have more money

You'll be fine with the squatch wheels and tires, no spacer needed...just pull the crash bars.

The spacer lift isn't "bad" per-say, it will be fine on pavement but I'd recommend 1.5" max to put less stress on the CVs. Also, at 2" of lift, you'll be on the cusp of needing new UCAs to be able to align properly.

A happy medium between top hat spacers and full blown coil over lift would be perch collars. Helps preserve steering geometry and CV angles. Perch collars are inexpensive however you do need to remove and disassemble the coil overs to install the collars.

If you have no intention on off-roading, then spacer lifts are fine.

Spacer lifts do nothing to improve the ride quality of the Bronco, and often decrease the handling characteristics due to the higher center of gravity. So in that sense... they are "bad".

But they're cheap, and if you are sticking to the pavement then it doesn't really matter.

lots of folks are running Sasquatch takeoffs (with a little “rub”) by just removing crash bars and Ya only ”need” 1” of lift (less than a 1” spacer) to match Sasquatch height with 35”s. A 2” spacer lift isn’t really a problem on your bronco (I would add a track bar relocation bracket). A 3/4” to 2” body lift is probably a better option to keep the suspension stock and provide clearance for the tires. Of course replacement coilovers are a better (and more expensive) option for the added weight and height of the 35”s. It just depends how “aggressive“ you drive and what compromises ya can put up with…good luck!

I put on 35s (sasquatch takeoffs)
with no spacers and they have no problem with any clearances. No rub anywhere.

Do you have a pic of your car?

I think im going 1 inch or 1.5max so that it doesn’t effect my car to much. What’s your thoughts on this ?

1.5" max will be fine. Maybe slap the wheels and tires on first without the lift to see where you're at...you may not need anything.

Way back when we were waiting on the Broncos to be built, my dealership had a mannequin they could let people test drive. it was a Big Bend with 35" no squatch no lift just removed the crash bars. there were no issues with rubbing.
