My sensors are very close to accurate. I run 41 psi front and 36 rear on my 24 Badlands with a 2.7L engine. I have the rear seats removed but have a lightweight platform and shelving to replace them. Pressures determined by chalk like test. I am due for my next tire rotation and treads are wearing perfectly. I get no harsh ride on pavement and air down off-road.

Use your experience about tire pressures to run.
Remember, if you split an innertube after taking a sweet jump, then your pressure was too low. If you split a dried-up old sidewall after pumping up by really leaning on the pump handle, then your pressure was too high.
Oh, back to Broncos --
my SAS OEM seems to like 38 - 40 on road.
Haven't been below 18 off road, but probably should've once or twice.

They wouldn't let me rent one with my Sport Trac either. Even though it was a Ranger at heart, it still said "Explorer" on the badge.
Have kept my territories at the 41psi they came from the dealer with. Bounces around between 38-39 cold but after getting them up to temp they are always at 41 and wearing perfectly even with 17k miles on the odometer.
Runs smooth as silk too. Rough roads are rough roads but there is no shimmy or shake. I have always been really impressed how easy and smooth this thing drives.

I had the same experience with my Toyota T-100 decades ago. I found the handling squirrelly on the highway and I blamed the suspension. It turned out the problem was overinflated tires. Once that was fixed it handled fine for a pickup truck.
Edmunds had a negative review on this truck based on its highway handling (calling it "a handful"), and I have to wonder if the reason was they didn't air down the tires to the right pressure.
