No, I think that they're just building justification to kill 2 doors off. Not making 2 door specific parts is where the profit margins come in. While there aren't many 2 door specific parts, there's probably enough that the business case for killing them is somewhat sound.
Maybe. I just don’t get why though if that’s the case.
If you’re trying to justify axing the 2 door by lowering all the available options, why not just kill it and be done with it lol

My guess would be is that the data may be telling them what are the most common colors and options are selling with the 2-doors and that’s what they’re offering versus having every potential option available for their lower volume model.

Yeah just got back from my dealer who looked this up in front of me. VERY minimalist update year unfortunately. We still can't even get power side mirrors and cooled seats!? And the march of boring colors continues.
You mean power mirrors are not standard on all models?.....I never even gave them a thought as most vehicles come with them standard in todays world.

I will now interrupt your regularly scheduled programming to lobby everyone to go buy a 2-door manual transmission. I need them to still be available for me to buy by the time I hit my mid-life crisis. :giggle:

Thank you for your consideration.
I really want a 2-door manual. But it won't work as a primary vehicle. I'll be filled to the brim teaching a K9 seminar next week -- 2 people, one dog, equipment, luggage, etc. However, I did pick up a nice unmolested 11 year old 2 door MT JK Rubicon for my daughter to drive. She's looking forward to driving it on the trails next year. I love driving with that short wheelbase in town but boy is luggage limited if you need the backseat.

At the $34k I paid for my ‘23 base, I can lightheartedly admit my Bronco is a fun piece of junk. Drive it to 150k (if the 2.3 goes that far) and either retire it or sell for next to nothing.

See ya 100k miles down the road, Toyota. You’ll have your turbo/hybrid powertrains sorted by then and meanwhile, Ford will still be perfecting the art of charging 10% more for 5% less.

I think a lot of us thought the refresh would be coming this year. Has anyone heard about next year now from inside the walls?

I am not sure it wasnt a loss leader. Lots of engineering for a very low selling item.
Manufacturers need to make iconic vehicles to draw people into the brand.

The 2 door was on all the promotional elements.

The 2 door may not be where the huge profit margins are, but they are the reason why the 4 door was so successful.

To me, it would make sense, if only from a marketing perspective, to continue to sell it.
Yes and Yes ….

Ford needed a 2dr to make the connection to the Gen1 Bronco.

Ford ford is making the disconnect sway bar optional.. maybe for the 2dr make the rear seats ‘optional’… it’s what most did with their Gen1’s

After getting my 25 BL 2dr there is no way someone could get in the rear so (wrong)

those seats might be heading for storage…

lol and as a Two seater (with a large trunk) it’ll need the sport goat.

My grown ass grandson is a big guy and he had no trouble getting into the back seat on my 2 door Wildtrak.

They have power mirrors. The guy youre replying to means power folding mirrors. As in the ones that fold in and out with the push of a button.

They are power when you adjust the view, not manual.

I really thought Orange Fury would make it's may in the line-up. Surprise to see a four-door Stroppe given that the 2 doors are remaining on the lots.

Oxford white on the Heritage with the white pin-stripe? Hmm....
Missing the boat on not having high impact colors. Mopar-Dodge has done a better job at bright impact colors.

The Stroppe should have been a Rap not a Paint, as I don't care for the color combination, but would have definitely bought one if the Rap could have easily been removed.

Ford definitely missed some low hanging fruit with what they're currently offering for the 2026. They could EASILY offer as an option the Square Fenders on the 2D (since they did away with the 2D Heritage).

I've been on this forum since 2019..... (this is what I have been waiting for or the Cliffhanger 2D)
Ford Bronco 2026 Bronco Order Guide (changes & updates) Screenshot_20240712_200721_Facebook
....and year after year I continue to be saddened by the decision being made at Ford. Hopefully now that the current powers that be have rolled back the CAFE & EPA requirements, Ford will finally offer a vehicle that doesn't rely on a bunch of Electronic Modules to meet those requirements.

Stepping off of my soapbox now....

This

Plain jane colors are for cookie-cutter family sedans.

Vehicles that make a statement (Mustang, Bronco, performance editions, etc) should visibly POP.
