-Badlands (only special edition with disco for years (outside of FE), and and in interior unique to only itself, as well as unique shocks) Disco now available

-Wildtrak (only special edition with the new rack, Fox shocks, dedicated wheels and interior unique to itself, as well as Baja mode, rear stabilizer bar) The rack and Fox shocks, and staybar now available

OBX (only special edition available with painted trim) perhaps once that was a WT thing also

Did the HE edition have low production numbers? It certainly outsold the Base.

To me they are all just trims, outside the limited and FE.
Badlands, WT, OBX... All are high production number vehicles.
There are more base broncos on the road than Heritage Editions... In 23 there were less than 300 HE 2 doors made.
Go on auto trader and take a look.

Autotrader shows 12 BD, 16 Obx, 21 WT, and 23 Heritage Editions for 2-doors (within 400 miles of me), it doesn't allow me to select Base as a trim. I haven't looked at AT since it was a magazine on the shelf, almost zero private sellers.

Do we know for sure that 2026 production doesn't start until January? Surely they're not behind on orders for 2025 🤷
Considering order books open about the same time in the past years, shouldn't we see Broncos getting scheduled already?

The process is dictated by the changeover - typically done during Christmas break. Job1 isn't a date that gets moved around arbitrarily.

The current USOB (UnScheduled Order Bank) will address outstanding orders and remaining production will be focused on dealer stock.

Oh it's a wasteland. I tried to sell an FJ on it a few years ago. The highlight was someone who wanted to buy it but was 'off in Europe doing work'. As soon as I told them I'd be printing up an official bill of sale to be signed they buggered off.

I still haven't figured out exactly how they were planning to scam me, but I knew they were. It was probably something like they would overpay (but not actually pay) and then they would request the refund on a gift card or something.

Anyway, I ended up just trading it in to the dealer for my Bronco. Lost money compared to selling private, but also kept my sanity somewhat.

I bought a Race Red, 2-door OBX V6 in 2023. Glad I did. OBX were called “Mall crawlers” but, nothing says “Mall Crawler” more than a 4-door Bronco. Ford once again missed the boat on the 2026 Bronco. There are so many colors from the 60’s and 70’s that would look great on the 6G Bronco. I recently saw a 6G wrapped in Sage Green and another wrapped in a pastel Aqua. they looked Incredible.
You're so right. I have a 2023 2 door Heritage Edition, race red, manual transmission. I can't tell you how many people have come up to me to ask about it. And I've had so many older gentlemen come up to me to tell me about the Broncos they owned in the 60's and how much the Heritage Edition reminds them of those. Someone came up to me the other day at the gas station to talk about the 1968 model they had. I've never gotten so many compliments on a vehicle in my life. Ford should be taking advantage of the heritage of the Bronco.

The 2 door Race Red HE is a great combination. I get the same sort of thing with people admiring my Yellowstone HLE. They like the heritage looks especially the unique colors of the HLE's and the wheels. Too bad Ford just seems to give us more of 50 shades of bland. One thing I will say about Jeep is they still have some vibrant colors.

I can't imagine many dealers wanting 2025 stock so late in the year...

It's not so much of them "wanting", but Ford sending...

Dealer lots still need inventory. The buyer might be willing to wait until MY'26 dealer inventory arrives, but then might consider the MY'25 with a lower MSRP. The dealer just wants to sell a unit. They don't care if it is a MY'25 or MY'26. Having options for the buyer allows the dealer to leverage the price difference so the sale is completed regardless of which unit is sold.

Ruby Red Metallic and Velocity Blue (For its sixth consecutive year) are the only two remaining colors that aren't an earth tone or shade of grey. What a terrible year for paint.
So what.....chuckle....from the pix I see on this site it appears to me all you guys/gals do is do is your best to scrape, grind, bash the paint off to add a little patina to your Bronco's like worn Levi's!...Makes em kinda lived in lookin don't it.....:like:...Each little scrape ding a momento of fun filled escapes away from urban or city life.

Even the 2026 Bronco Sport is getting Orange Fury. I don’t understand the logic behind these decisions.
