I got very unlucky. Cam phasers needed replaced at 20,000 miles. Both front CV axles needed to be replaced at 25,000 miles. Multiple trips to the dealership to fix floppy windows. Multiple soft top warranty repairs (until Ford decided when to stop honoring the warranty). Purchased a hard...
There are two things that cause me driver fatigue on long trips: constant steering input, and constant loud noise. I thought switching from a 2022 Jeep Wrangler to a Ford Bronco would improve both those characteristics, but I was sorely mistaken. The Bronco is so obnoxiously loud on the...
I started over and bought a 2026 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. My 2022 Bronco Badlands SAS was riddled with issues that Ford didn't want to address. I put a ton of time and money into the Bronco, but I couldn't get it dialed in to make it anywhere enjoyable to drive.
Maybe I'll come back in a few...
But the new CEO of Jeep said just the opposite. "The brand aims to defy the "sea of sameness" in the SUV segment by using high-impact, limited-edition colors."
The full Wrangler 2026 lineup was just revealed:
I'm not selling my Bronco because of the state of the showroom, I'm selling my Bronco because of the attitudes of the service and warranty claims departments. Don't tell me you won't honor the warranty because I take my Bronco off road or the part (soft top rear window) is not warrantied...
I did everything I could to get my Bronco quiet for my wife and daughter. They really hate how road noise affects their hearing aids. They either turn them off and can't have any kind of conversation whatsoever, or they leave them on and deal with constant discomfort, noise fatigue, and fast...
The Sahara and 392 are the only Wranglers that don't have a 2-door option. The Willy's and Rubicon have the 35 inch tire package option for both 2 and 4 doors.
Story time! At the Southern Missouri Off Road Ranch, commonly known as SMORR. First picture is PeeWee's Crossing we took during the day. This is a Jeep Badge of Honor Trail.
We decided to do a night ride on this trail. The creek has tons of tree roots and sharp rocks. I had my head out...
When is the last time you bought a new Baofeng? I purchased this set: https://a.co/d/c9GzVLk and there was no programming required at all.
Op, I suggest the radios I linked above. The batteries last forever, but the units can be charged via USB right from your vehicle. They have a really...
What gearing was the rental jeep? I drove a Rubicon with 35" tires, 3.6L V6, and the 4.56 gears and I thought it was super peppy. It was so good I decided to order one. Selling the Bronco.
I love the new grille. I thought my Badlands grille was the best factory option so far. But this new one looks fab. Too bad I don't have any interest in the rest of it. Maybe they'll make it an option I can buy off of ford parts down the road?
I love my Bronco. I enjoy this car more than any car I've ever owned. Its not even close.
Here is what I hate about it:
Frameless windows are garbage. They constantly need to be relearned. They constantly rattle. They have to be all the way up or all the way down. Can't crack the window...
The build quality was so bad back when the Bronco was first released, someone came out with a detailed quality checklist for buyers to go through before taking possession of their Bronco. Sounds like you got a loose ground, which was one of the items on that checklist.
EDIT: Found it. Here...
My main gripes are:
Buggy carplay infotainment system
Frameless windows are a huge PIA.
Weak steering and suspension parts in the Badlands/Sasquatch package
I'm certain carplay will get better in any refresh. I kinda want to see an F-150 style door in the Bronco where the front of the door...
