Hang in there guys. The 7MT is totally worth it and is hands-down the easiest and most forgiving MT I've ever driven. I love mine and would have regretted compromising for a automatic.

It's worth the wait...382 days for me and I wouldn't change a thing.

Just got a text from Ford, my Feb 3 order is scheduled for the week of May 12. Here's to hoping I'm not the only one getting good news today!
I placed my order for a 2-door Badlands 2.3 liter/7-speed this past Monday. Ford accepted the order. But that's as far as it has gone. Good luck on your order. I may be out of luck. My 2-door manual is a double whammy I've heard.

When you get it, breath in deep a few new car smells for Uncle Brad. Thanks for helping keep the manual alive.

When did you place your order?
I think you're good. Tim Bartz from Long McArthur says manual trannys are becoming available again. Yours might get scheduled for June.

Watch @8:42 of this video. BTW, there are weekly updates every Tuesday.

Maybe the China sourced MT and tarrif uncertainty led to Ford delaying scheduling?

I certainly enjoy my MT. My main niggle is that it is too easy - I wish the hydrolic clutch mechanism assisted less and provided more feel. I am never really confident where the engagement point is.

Driving the auto at Bronco OffRodeo confirmed my choice even for the trails, as I did not find the auto that refined in off road scenarios, at least not as much as I expected...

The MT delays hit way prior to the tariffs but seem to be somewhat resolved now. The first batch of 25's with MT's are scheduled for production the week after next (April 28th) and hopefully those of us in that group should start seeing production notifications and window stickers next week. Since they are still accepting manual orders I don't think Ford is too concerned about being able to build MT's. However, since the transmission does come from China nothing is certain.

Looks like most of the current MT issue is related to the fact that only 3% of Bronco total production capacity is manuals.

That is certainly a factor, but there were a lot of us that got scheduled for late February build dates, then all of the sudden they were all pushed back 2 months, and during this period they stopped scheduling MT builds. So there was definitely an undisclosed issue with MT's that Ford was dealing with for a month or two and appear to have overcome.
