It should be noted here that with the Ford Performance ProCal4 tune, the horsepower jumps to 330, and the torque to approximately 385. My 2.3L 7MT 2-door does 0-60 a tick above 6 seconds. The manual is noisy (but then again so is the 10-speed auto). I really like mine.Has your sister test driven the 2.3 manual. If not, she should. It's like 30 HP less. I pull a 3500 Lb. trailer with no problem.
10/25 Update: Going with a K&N intake, a Flowmaster American Thunder axleback exhaust and a rear seat delete, on paper I'm over 350HP, and I'm well into the 5 second range 0-60 with the 4 cylinder. Unless the Jeep has a 392 V8, there is no stock Jeep out there with performance numbers like that.
