Since there are many of us with either scheduling delays, and even more that cannot get scheduled at all, I figured we need our own thread to commiserate, and share updates together over this issue. The next few weeks will be critical and hopefully the 4/28 build week does not get pushed back again.

Despite ordering early November, mine isn't scheduled. I'm hoping the 4/28 builds go on schedule as maybe I can get into the 2nd batch of manuals but if those dates get pushed back, one has to wonder how many 2025 manual transmission Bronco's will be build. I'm considering switching to the automatic but I don't know if I want to settle.

I had a 2025 Heritage 7sp on order but bought a heavily discounted new 2024 Wildtrak instead. First of all, I like a good deal! Second, with all the complaints about the manual (I'm sure you've seen the huge thread on this forum) and the silence from Ford about why the delay on the 2025 manuals, it gave me pause.

In saying that, I love manuals and I hope you guys get your Broncos built and enjoy the heck out of them!

I will say, if I hadn't found my manual - now that I'm more experienced with the trim levels - a good deal on a Wildtrak is a very nice consolation prize.

Ordered February 3rd and, of course, I'm not scheduled yet.

Switching to an automatic for $1500 would be a no-brainer... if I didn't also have to get the V6, making it a $3600+ increase for two options I don't want. The Badlands I ordered is really right at the limit of what I'm comfortable ordering price-wise, because it gives me just enough wiggle room on my trade-in and financing rates--and who knows what those will be in a few months' time.

My problem is I really want that lux package, so it's either Badlands or OBX. I live in a snowy climate so the auto 4WD is a must-have for me, but to get that on the OBX I have to Sasquatch it, which is more expensive than the Badlands I've spec'd while forcing me into carpeted flooring and everything else it lacks compared to the Badlands! AUGH.

A Sasquatch Big Bend with Black Diamond and Black Appearance packages gets me 95% of what I want, except I don't want to have to tear apart a brand new $58k car just to install a sound system that won't suck. And I know I'll be missing the heated steering wheel come wintertime.

The way all these options and packages work with all their incompatibilities, asterisks, and mandatory add-ons is infuriating.

If this week's build sheet says no manuals again I'm gonna be real tempted to beg my dealer to give me a price break on the V6. I'd just hate to switch my order only to find out Ford discovered a whole warehouse full of 7 speeds and everybody got scheduled.

Phew. Glad that's off my chest. Thanks for making this thread.

I ordered at the end of December. If people a month and a half ahead of me don't have a date yet then it's going to be a long wait still. At the time I ordered I'd already waited over a year thanks to open heart surgery, downsizing, and moving to a different city.

Considering going with an automatic with V6...

It looks like you live in MI (I do too). I'm looking into Broncos again (most likely a 2 dr) but I notice you mention the need to have auto 4WD (4A). I'm wondering if I really need that or not? Honestly I've never owned a real 4WD vehicle so I'm not sure if you can just put the Bronco in 4H when the roads are crap or if that's something you need to be careful with. I guess that's something I need to educate myself on. I like the idea of 4A setting but I'm not liking the price I'd have to pay to get it, lol.

You already have your own thread, trouble with the manual "scrapping and grinding", on it's way to 5000 posts perhaps the most popular thread on the forum(?).

Glad to hear those that are in it for the fight, the manual is worth it! Good thing is you'll be getting the new 2.3 which is probably causing the delay, once they figure it out you'll forget about the order push backs. Godspeed and save the manuals by holding your ground!

When I was researching 4WD cars late last year, my understanding was that you can switch into 4H when you hit snow, but you have to go back to 2H once you're on bare pavement again. This could be annoying on patchy roads. The auto 4WD system is more like AWD, from what I understand, so it won't have to be actively managed and will keep itself in 2H when its not needed.

I'm in the upper peninsula so not only does it get snowy as hell here in general, in some storms you'll have 6+ inches at higher elevations slightly inland with a light dusting closer to the lake. That's the type of situation where I just want to put it in 4A and not have to think about it.

I'd say if there's tons and tons of Subarus in your area of the mitten, like there are up here, maybe think about getting auto 4WD. If you're in the lower half of the lower peninsula you're probably fine without it.

Just my two cents living in another very snowy climate (Quebec): you don't need 4A. I had similar thoughts, but I have to say my Big Bend did great this winter and I often find that the switching between 2H and 4H is not an annoyance at all. I drove both country and city, both hilly and by the water, for more context.

One advantage of the automatic that isn't to be overlooked is the remote start. My BB lives outside, and I will say that on the freezing mornings, being able to walk into a warm car with the heated seats on, is huge. Also from what I hear, the heated steering wheel is a bit lackluster. I will say, I never once said to myself "I wish I had the heated wheel," given how the cabin heats up with remote start. The heated seats could bake a potato 😂

FYI, I also had my heart set on a manual, but ended up getting a great deal on an out of province BB automatic they shipped in during Employee Pricing last year (and looks like my originally planned manual build likely would not have gotten scheduled either...). The base sound system (as an audiophile) is not as bad as some people describe. I will upgrade at some point, but for now, it does the job just fine.

All this to say, given your original post, your sweet spot may be to shop around for a '24 BD automatic with mid package. You get pretty much all the features which are important to you, and can put some of the (likely significant) savings into a truly great sound system (better than the B&O that you get with Lux). Getting someone else to do the install for you. Another option might be a '24 OBX with Lux, since if I recall correctly, all trims had washout flooring in '24. Just means skipping out on 4A in both cases, which as I said, to me is a nice to have, and not as needed as one might think. Hope this helps!

I ordered my 2025 Heritage Edition (Ruby Red Metallic) on 11/07/24. Received a text this morning, shipped 03/22/25.

I ordered a 2025 Ruby Red Metallic Heritage with a 2.3 and 7 speed manual on January 23.

I've received a txt/email from Ford on March 8th saying they're still working on a scheduled build date.

This is my first post (been lurking for a while) and I'm a current Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 6 speed owner--very excited to get my Bronco.

My dad never taught me how to drive an automatic so I gotta row my own! Save the manual!
