Hello there,

First time posting here but long time lurker.

I was wondering if it's normal that the driver seat is not sliding forward.
When I use the latch at the top of the seat it will lean forward but it won't slide, I have to use the adjustment handle under the seat and that's not ideal.

It should slide forward from the handle on the back of the seat. Sometimes I have to pull the handle a little harder than expected to get it to slide after it folds down.

I find the driver's seat more difficult to slide forward as a good thing!

It's almost necessary to make it a discrete two-step process moreso than the passenger seat:
1. Pull the handle to tilt forward
2. Push on the upper back of the seat to slide

I have noticed the same. Sometimes you have to give it a good push or put it back into position and start over.

I had this issue sometimes and I recall someone saying it happens when you don't push the seat all the way back before pushing the seat back into position. I didn't use the driver side that much so I never confirmed this theory.

Mine does want to slide forward either but it does with some extra effort. Maybe it will ease up the more I do it, or maybe greasing the track will help.

There should be NO need to fiddle under the seat to scoot the front seats in a 2-door forward to allow rear-sent passengers ingress/egress. It's hard enough as it is. If that is really how YOUR 2-door is working you should definitely visit your dealer.

Hah, I be damned, I took delivery of my 2dr 08/22. Since delivery both front seats have never slid forward in one action by pulling up on upper back lever. I've always had to do the 2 step drill. Pull up on lever, seat reclines forward and pull up on front slide lever. Once I get the call from dealer to pick up my Bronco (replacing hard top under warranty) I'm going to have to check on this while at dealer. If it doesn't do it while I'm there I mention it to them.

Unbelievable all this time I've been doing the two stepper. Sum bitch!!!!

Hi there, I'd be happy to look into your Bronco concerns on my end. Will you send us a message with your VIN and dealership info? I can look into things on my end.

You are not alone, I thought you had to do two steps.
