Just received my 2 door and it has the exact same issue. What did you guys do to correct the problem after knowing about it for over a year?
The trick is after the seat top folds forward and down, you must push it down even further, then the seat will easily slide forward. I think there is some mechanism that will not allow the seat to slide forward unless the seat top is folded down enough.

Just use a set of pliers and squeeze the 2 ears together slightly.

Just received my 2 door and it has the exact same issue. What did you guys do to correct the problem after knowing about it for over a year?
90% of the time, folks just need to lean the seat forward using that upper handle and when it feels like it has stopped, give it a bit of a good shove further, it then releases and slides very easily on the rail.
If that isn't working, either take it in for warranty ... or it sounds like folks have found other solutions, but I've never had to deal with that issue.

The good shove works for me and we use it all the time. Took about 6 or 8 times to get used to the process, It has become second nature at this point.
