I’ll be damned. That didn’t exist before. I ordered mine with the black springs originally, found when loaded w gear I had quite a bit of squat. Was advised the teal ones were a touch stiffer, so swapped to those : they were C19-573V.

but now there’s a C19-575V and springs are now available in black, teal and red!

spring rates aren’t provided but free height is:

C19-573V: 445mm
C19-575V: 470mm

That’s an inch difference.

FWIW- I've had MRR's on my 80 series Land Cruiser for the past two years and ~20k. I've been really happy with them so far. I live 2.5 miles down a road that is course sand washboard, major whoops, and a normally dry wash, so they have seen daily abuse beyond actual off-road trips.

I tried Dobinson's suggested settings and adjust from there a bit, then one day I just set everything real low and started from there. Generally only changing one setting at a time and logging it. I also know what settings to adjust them to when loaded with gear/fuel which is nice.

And yeah, the rebound can be a bit of a PITA. Also somewhat concerned about what I'll do come rebuild time. The place I took my Kings to last year were only vaguely aware of Dobinsons.

I mean't it is a pita to get to the setting screws. If you mean't the actual rebound, I've just gone by reaction of the truck.

It's a process, and TBH it is a bit on the soft side for pavement, but the washboard is tolerable.

Just ordered my MRRs this week Can't wait to get them. Currently running 3" RPG perch collars and 3" body lift. The ride is not bad actually with the perch collars but really looking forward to the improved ride with the MRRs. Orded the heavy duty rear springs as I have a lot of gear in the back.

Dave

You will enjoy them. I have had them for 6 months and happy with ride and performance. They are great on the trail. The rear rebound adjustment screw is difficult to adjust when installed. Recommend setting at 50% prior to install, 7 clicks.

So what kind of weight would you have to run to get the heavier duty springs, is there a point for front weight and rear weight in lbs where you would run over the other? Maybe you can run 38s with the heavy duty one lol.

No - my need was for a 4dr filled w gear for camping - 4 people - going cross country for a week:

vehicle was sagging in the rear noticeably - headlights into the sky - nearly Carolina squat, and weight was rear biased. Steel tubular bumper (RTR), hi-lift jack and mount, spare tire platform on the 37ā€ mt Baja boss tire, full Jerry can of fuel, roam case on spare tire platform with gear, recovery boards on spare tire platform, heavy duty spare tire carrier. Add in the cooler and food, tents, camp kitchen, water and all that.

With the HD rear springs, I’m back to a slight rake unloaded instead of level and mostly level when loaded.

I just went to the Dobinson website and looked at the gen 6 4Runner and they have spring options from 100lbs all the way up to 1300lbs where ass Bronco it's only up to 300lbs, not sure why that is or if they will have more options available but so far the 4Runner has way more spring options available and they are classified by their lbs number. I'm thinking I need the from to rated for about 500 and rear for 800 minimum. Ride shocks from Accutine also give you two options with following ranges: front 400lbs rear 650lbs or front above 400lbs and rear 900lbe something along those lines.

  • C19-573V - Stock Load
  • C19-575V 150-300lb Load
2026 4Runner Options:

Front Spring Options:
  • C59-882 (50mm - 2") Stock Load
  • C59-816 (65mm - 2.5") Stock Load / (50mm- 2") 110-220lb Load
  • C59-818 (75mm - 3") Stock Load / (65mm - 2.5") 110-220lb Load

Rear Spring Options:
  • C59-885V (12mm - .5") 0-110lb Load
  • C59-817V (50mm - 2") 0-110lb Load
  • C59-819V (75mm - 3") Stock Load / (50mm - 2") 200-400lb Load
  • C59-821V (75mm - 3") 200-300lb / (50mm - 2") 500-700lb Load
  • C59-823V (75mm - 3") 400-600lb / (50mm - 2") 800-1000lb Load
  • C59-825V (75mm - 3") 700-900lb / (50mm - 2") 1100-1300lb Load
I'm confused, why don't we have similar options for the 4 door Bronco, it seems we only have two choices for the Bronco 4 door.

Front Spring Options:

None

Rear Spring Options:
  • C19-573V - Stock Load
  • C19-575V 150-300lb Load

Gotta be a result of customer market size.

300lbs is not enough, it should be options for at least up to 900lbs. 150lbs to 300 lbs is extremely low in my opinion, especially for the rear.
