New Dobinsons - Completed install

Finally after saving for the past two years, and going back and forth between manufactures, finally ordered a complete set of Dobinsons MRR. Guess I'll have to figure out the adjustments for these things and the height adjustment.
Needed a bit heavier spring in the rear to offset a bit of tongue weight when pulling my off-road camper. Ordered a couple 3/4" sockets for these massive bolts and nuts and got new axle nuts, as I've seen suggested.
Even got one of those hydraulic spring compressors. Not even attempting those clamp one, screw compressor tools (ignore the wire mess in the background.)

Most likely start the install in a month or so. Any tips, suggestions and torque specs for install?

Completed this past week. I forgot to grab a pic of the completed front, so just a pic of the rear.
!00% that Vevor spring compressor totally worth it.

For the front, decided to pull both the lower control arm bolts and drop that. Just mark the adjustment before unloosening so you can put them back. Pulled the sway bar.
Problems: The 3 upper shock tower bolt holes are a smidge too small. Had to open them up by a 32nd, which went to a 1/2" hole to thread in the top shock bolts, M12 bolts into the shock. Bought a few extra stepper bits, burnt through 3 of them in the process of opening all 6 holes.
Also, there wasn't any hardware in the bolt package to mount the front reservoir bracket to the frame. (added stock pic where it bolts up). There are factory holes in the frame, only on one side of the frame though, so I had to fab up a small keeper bracket to put the 1/4 bolt I had in and through one side of the frame to hold the back side of the bolt from turning when I tightened the nut on the outside. Not sure if this was a over sight by Dobinson? Neither shock package had bolts/nut bracket for it.

I remembered to get a pic of the rear. That was pretty straight forward. And it included the bolts for the reservoir bracket to mount, since it wasn't through the frame, easy to reach from front and back side.

All together 3 days. And all bruised up.

Front I used the standard 570 spring. Started out at about minimum of 86mm of preload. Returned it to stock ride height, with the additional weight of bumper and winch.
Rear I set it at almost minimum as well, 87mm of preload, since I used the 575 rear spring for additional weight. Think that spring is for an additional 150lb of weight. Rear is up about 2" from stock, so a little bit of rake going on. But my main purpose was to have it not sag with my trailer on, so hope this will solve it. If it needs more with my trailer, I have a lot of preload I can add in later.

Over all, ride feels better, not as harsh. Have them set in the middle for low and high speed compression. Think my problem was I was getting out of the ride zone in the factory Fox shocks in the bypass, causing the harshness.

Over all, seem happy so far. Haven't driven it much though, since it was only this past week.

And my final thought, fuck that rear lower big ass shock bolt.

Nice. I’ve been running the IMS setup with the heaviest available springs. Very happy with the setup. Wish the MRR’s were available when I was upgrading.
