  1. Doug DeMuro Filson Quirks and Feature Review just dropped.

Does it look like it will have a rear X-Brace?
  2. Finally got my new wheels and tires installed

Bada-boom, bada-bling! Ok, I'll bite. Where do you plan on doing some "safe" off-roading here in AZ? Graded FS roads and dunes?
  3. Grenadier rental review

I was really headed down the Grenadier purchase path but stopped for a couple key reasons for my use case. First and foremost, can’t flat tow it behind a RV. (though, tbh you have to jump through underhood fuse pulling hoops now on EBB equipped Broncos as Ford can’t seem to do a code fix to...
  4. Rear End Feels Like It’s Stepping Out When Turning — Worse in Rain?

Yup. Unless the dude has a trackbar bushing issue (or other rear bushing problem) my bet from personal experience is ESC. It does give a strange sensation.
  5. Rear End Feels Like It’s Stepping Out When Turning — Worse in Rain?

My bet is the electronic stability goodies are applying the inside rear brake. *combine with marginal wet performance of the tires.
  6. Cannot get 2025 Base 2.3L w/SAS manual transmission into flat tow mode

I didn’t know the clown Stroppe came with a manual transmission?
  7. Bronco Filson Road Tour - All Cities List

So is the X-Brace going to make production? Pretty sure one of those mules has it. The current X-Brace through Ford Perf does not have the updated rear lighting that the 25+’s have. Wondering if they addressed that for the Filsons, giving them a bit more rigidity.
  8. Home Made Camper Top

It would look much more legit with some MaxTrax and a Hi-Lift bolted to the side. Maybe a couple of rotopax too.
  9. Brakes running hot lately

Could be a flexible brake line on the DS. But the OP really needs to take to an independent trusted shop and have the issue addressed before more damage occurs. If there was smoke, rotors might be toast and I’d also do a fluid flush.
  10. Bronco Pickup Truck coming in future. Hybrid Bronco arrives 2027

The same people that liked the Charger for the 4doors but prefer a Ford product.
  11. Need a battery recommendation.

Lithium, in current drop-in form for underhood use, is not there boys. That battery touted by some poster above ^ in this thread had an operating ambient temp range of what -10 to 140* My underhood temp in the summer here without the engine ever running will exceed that. And people wonder...
  12. 7MT hydraulic accumulator failure

Dude, nice trail save! Kudos! Curious, how did you bleed it?
  13. Good by Bronco

Ah, a sad Boomer who bought a vehicle on self imposed image of himself, and ignorant of the actual product.
  14. [Solved] Video: Bronco Doesn’t Drive but engine is running and no error codes

Before listening to the video, I was going to say possibly something with the 4A transfer case clutch/actuator, but that sound is metal on metal and more exposed like a converter against the flexplate. Calibration my ass.
  15. Bronco Raptor vs. Defender Octa vs. Wrangler 392 - Which Is the Top Dog Off-Road SUV? -- TFL review

Hope that AEV ā€˜upfit’ addressed the weak transfer case and fuel starvation issues.
  16. Thoughts about my Bronco from a Jeep guy!

The '25+ 2.3 is not the same as the 2020 2.3 other than displacement. OP, run premium and get some miles on it so that the ECM/TCM can make adjustments to the base maps. Not sure what effect the auto has, but I have no complaints about the powertrain performance either here at under 2000’...
  17. Who actually off-roads their 7MT?

I drive mine off-road every time I leave my house. It is a great desert runner, but would I take it on my typical 5+ day outings here in AZ or UT over my 80 Series Land Cruiser or Power Wagon? Um, no. SFA/Auto > IFS/MT off-road (desert racing being an exception with IFS.)
  18. Can Adaptive Cruise Control be added?

Upside tho, your rear brake pads will last longer than those of us that use ACC. :)
  19. Very Clean Midland MXT575 GMRS Radio Install with Mountains2Metal Bracket and 67 Designs Mic Mount

Many things make radio signal propagation vary, but yes there is a difference if properly installed. Biggest thing I’ve found too on the trail, especially with several guys using HTs, inevetablly over the corse of our multiple day trips, battery maintenance comes into play. Dead or low batteries...
  20. The death of the stick shift is almost here.

You haven’t missed much. Especially since 1st generally wasn’t sycro’d on most vehicles that had them. 4 on the floor, three on the tree or two in the glue. (powerglide)
