  1. Bronco Filson Road Tour - All Cities List

I hope that X-brace makes it into production. I would assume they’d redo the lighting so that it is like ‘25+ and I can put one in mine without it becoming even more of a black hole in the back.
  2. Tire Store’s….. all the big stores pretty much the same in price?

FYI - Discount/America’s Tire, Tire Rack, Dunn Tire & Auto, Suburban Tire are all owned by the same family. Tire Rack ships direct to DT/AT stores as an install option.
  3. Bronco owners — how are you keeping the cabin from cooking this summer? ☀️

High quality ceramic tint and a Desert Sand hardtop, I’ve got zero complaints here in Phoenix. Got to be the coolest interior vehicle i've ever owned. You can hold your hand against the fiberglass roof panel on 100*+ days after it has sat in direct sun. Don’t think you could do that on a metal roof.
  4. Bronco Filson Road Tour - All Cities List

At frist I thought that addy was in old town Snottsdale, but no. Maybe that is the only Filson shop in town. Ain't worth the hour drive to go to the central hood. Wrong time of the year too. Ford's potential target market, Snowbird Boomers, have flown home for the season.
  5. AC recirculate door sticks open

Not sure with your MY and config, but my '25 Lux has to be off of auto mode in order for re-circ/external true manual operation out of the button.
  6. Building the Ultimate ARB Front End on Your Ford Bronco: Bumper, Lights, and Air

You come out West and log a couple hundred miles of washboarded, rock loaded roads, you'll be wishing you'd have lowered your tire pressures. But you obviously have more off-road experience than I do.
  7. Need advice on antenna and power routing.

I'm putting in the same radio. I'd hoped to use the M2M glovebox mount, but the base is too big. Since we have a manual, the other mount option that uses the clutch pedal hanger is not an option either. So I'm going under the DS seat, home running the power to the battery along with the antenna...
  8. 2029 GMC Jimmy coming with V8, BOF, removal roof, retro styling to take on Bronco

The hood has a bit of Squarebody to it, although with an inverted center channel rather than a flat top ridge. The rest is forgettable. My '77 manual K5 isn't impressed.
  9. 2027 Bronco Filson: Specs, Price, Features, Everything You Need to Know

Back to the old gauge cluster and it did have the rear x-brace, so there is hope for us with a 25+ that wants to keep rear seat lighting.
  10. Opinion on seats

  11. Opinion on seats

I did the Lux seats primarily because I found the manual seat adjustment, with a manual transmission, wasn't comfortable for me. I've got 6 months and 11k on it now, and I find them very comfortable, but really lack the side bolstering needed to match handling. Might not be so bad with a auto...
  12. 2028 Jeep Wrangler Scrambler

The Scrambler is a shortened Gladiator frame, 2 door, removable top with a J10 style front end. Watch and listen to the TFL vid. No powertrain discussion. Jeep needs to offer the Hurricane in its SFA offerings.
  13. G/D DAMN '25 2.3 Filter

Um, remove the tire? I've got a lift, and the filter is easy to get at from below... a simple old metal filter band wrench easily goes on a '25 2.3. I have a harder time getting the brake clean spray can up in there to rinse the spooge slide out. Pretty sure you can do the same topside too...
  14. Turn Offroad Rear Taillight Guard Reviews

In the 80 Series Land Cruiser world, we call those damage multipliers. Save the plastic, bend the metal. A high percentage of 1990's LC's and LX's had various dealer installed aftermarket brush guards installed. Looked rugged ya' know. First thing we'd tell newb's to remove.
  15. Flat Towing must pull fuses

The transfer case is not going to come out of neutral without battery power to the servo motor to actuate shifting. I have a manual.
  16. Flat Towing must pull fuses

I have a manual transmission. The question is, if you put in tow/haul and then disconnect, when you reconnect the battery, can you can get it out of tow/haul.
  17. Flat Towing must pull fuses

I've decided to live on the edge and not pull fuses. I mounted the AF1 on top of the fuse box with velcro, and it can just be laid aside. As bad as the idea of pulling fuses is, the timeout you're supposed to wait for it to enter sleepy mode is a PITA as well. I'm wondering now, why not just...
  18. My Bronco looks even cooler after swapping in the new grille!!!

Amazing how these Chinese companies just crank out crap to see what sticks
  19. If you are considering a Ham Radio, now may be the time

Gigaparts (maybe HRO too) will do the MARS/CAP mod on most mobile radios so you can talk to your Midland Roger beep GMRS buddies on the trail. Just keep it on the DL as some folks get their panties all in a bunch over it. (got nothing better to bitch about)
  20. Two door LWB??

An 80 series Land Cruiser is 112" which is one of the reasons beyond the factory lockers and SFA, that they so popular.
