I’d like to see the center console lid be indexed, so it doesn’t want to immediately fall to the close position when you’re digging around for something. My biggest gripe!

Better material for the interior is among the top of my list - the interior panels scratch if you just look at them funny.

They got Window Flop, maybe, so that's nice.

Better interior lighting options - it's like I stepped into Wierd Uncle Jim's creepy box van when he offers me ice cream...

On the tech side - I generally don't think we need more, I like my stripped back model, but it's kind of silly that the top tiers don't have auto wipers, don't have ACC with stop and go, and don't have lane keeping -- for those people that want those features.

Getting brake-based per-wheel vectoring with the GOAT modes would be nice for lower trims, so you don't force everyone into full-on lockers (and all the people that don't quite know how to use them and break things). Or a full AWD T-Case to replace the Full Time T-Case (but definitely keep the existing part-time T-Case for us tech-adverse folks).

A non-electric, or at least modulating, parking break is probably a pipe dream. But would be nice. And having the handle not right next to, and similar to, the hood release, would also be nice.

I would LOVE a "quiet mode" for the entertainment screen -- suppsoedly a button was supposed to exist (and it does on the Sport and many other models) -- but to turn off the infotainment screen I have to dig through the Sync settings, while I'm driving down the road being blinded by the light.

And my last wish list item - have the HVAC controls actually do what they say they should... like Floor actually going to the floor, and not have 85% of the air actually coming out of the A-pillar vent instead, or little things like the "recirc" remembering what position you had it in last, rather than automatically doing whatever the F it wants to do on that particular day.
All these would be a welcome change. However, something you said I can't get out of my mind. Sorry if I open some old trauma, but I have to ask: Did you eat a lot of ice cream in the weird "Uncle Jim's" van?

Since you mentioned the gauge cluster, I was wondering if they could squeeze in JUST one more speedometer. There's ample space between the tach and the right side for a BAR-type gauge. They could also add it as another option for the customizable panel on the right, couldn't they? Then there's also a missed opportunity to vividly display the speed on the Radio screen.

Coming out of a BMW previously and the options I have on my other two cars, I had prepared myself for some compromises with the Bronco, but surprisingly I haven't felt that in the 4K miles, 6 months I've had mine. Even the interior noise isn't as bad as I had prepared myself for. However, here's my list...

Ventilated seats - Not a must have but would be nice. Didn't have them in the BMW, but have them in the other two cars.

Rain sensing wipers - Had them in the BMW and on one of my other cars, although that one doesn't really see much rain. Seems frivolous, but I had grown accustomed to not having to constantly adjust the wipers on rainy/snowy days. Not a must have but would be nice.

Better interior plastics that don't scratch as easily

Head up display - Again, not a must have. In my retirement job I get to drive quite a few cars that have that feature and you would be surprised at how easily you get used to not having to look away. I don't know if the display would get washed out with the tops off, but it doesn't seem to be an issue with Corvette convertibles. However, given the Bronco's propensity to go through windshields due to rock damage, it would make windshield replacements even more expensive.

When I got my WildTrak, I chose not to spring for the upgrade to the Lux package. At the time the only feature I thought I really wanted out of that was the heated steering wheel and I felt that feature alone wasn't worth the $3,500 upgrade. I had Adaptive Cruise Control in a leased Lexus I had years ago and I rarely used that feature. In hindsight I now wish I would have gotten it, more so for the 360-degree camera. That's what I miss the most, not even the heated steering wheel.

Again, that's about it. I guess out of my list above, the ventilated seats, better plastics and the rain sensing wipers (in that order) would be my list.

I really do enjoy my Bronco. During the summer months I try getting some miles on my other two cars, and I am missing when I'm not driving the Bronco as much.

Boy I agree with manual parking brake and not near hood release.

I’d like a non-turbo option available in manual.

- less warnings about trivial things...... especially the all green warning for seat belts telling you you're buckled in for a full minute.
- better sound insulation
- better sound system
- better color options, no one likes the 50 shades of grey color palate

If they offer a phev or do a decent refresh on the Raptor, I could be all back in. If those happen and I like them enough, I'll go for it instead of the Scout reservation I'm holding.

100% give me a refresh, by removing 90% of the tech.
We shall dub it the "retrofresh"... going back in time before vehicles became computers with engines.

I'd love to see it, but honestly with the amount of people that have bought the Lux package.... pretty sure tech is a huge selling point these days.

---

Anyway, there is a few things I wouldn't mind seeing, but if they do a refresh I'm hoping for only minor changes.

Probably unpopular opinion, but vehicles like the Bronco are successful in-part thanks to the aftermarket community. If you keep changing things it hampers development of aftermarket parts and increases the chance that those with existing Broncos get left out of the newer part releases.

I don’t drive barefoot. Carpet serves no purpose.
I don't drive bare foot either...

Sound deadening, makes it appear less basic, arguably keeps it warmer in cooler temps...

Given the updates to the 2025 models which included rear seat vents (4 door), full LCD instrument cluster, better interior lighting, updated B&O system, new 2.3L engine, painted tops, I wouldn't expect much more than the following;

-new grills and LED headlights/taillights
-new interior/exterior colors
-new Android based infotainment system
-return of wireless phone charging
-limited run anniversary edition

That's probably it but I'm sure the new styling cues will be controversial with all current Bronco owners hating the new styling while everyone else will love it as always happens with mid-cycle refreshes. As a person that is soon taking delivery of a 2025 Bronco, I'm fully aware that my new Bronco will become dated relatively quickly unfortunately.

Longer design cycles = Lower costs
Shorter design cycles = Wasteful
Mid-cycle enhancements = Really wasteful

I'd like to see no changes for 10+ years. Use that tooling until it's worn out, and build cheaper spare parts. I know my opinion is in the minority and that's ok.
I agree with you and that keeps my Bronco looking current longer and easier to sell if we should decide to do so.

I was sad to see the Mustang refresh because now my 2015 (first year of that body) isn’t the current body any more.
