  1. IAG soft top struts not pushing up all the way

Update. IAG immediately emailed me after I contacted them. When taking the pics they requested I noticed the top of one of the struts wasn’t popped on to the ball. Only one strut was lifting. Now it works flawlessly! thanks for the quick response IAG.
  2. IAG soft top struts not pushing up all the way

Yes, windows were in. Thanks IAG, I will look at your email and respond.
  3. IAG soft top struts not pushing up all the way

Installed the version 2 struts last night. Not impressed. Once released, they raise the top about 2-3ā€ then I have to push it up. Once up it stays up. Looked through previous threads and they do mention the version 2 is for heavier newer softies, which I have. maybe they shipped me the V 1’s by...
  4. Trailer brake controller….needed????

Haven’t towed w the Bronco yet, but w a full load of firewood in a 5’x10’, I wish I had had them once. 4 Runner brakes were struggling. I had used Air Ride bags in a 3rd gen Pathfinder. They work. I’d buy again if I needed them.
  5. Poor Persons Heated Steering Wheel

Don’t like a cold steering wheel! Was looking for a used Bronco and passed on a ton of them that didn’t have it. Good luck.
  6. Witnessed accident today

You could pull out the factory seats and go w aftermarket suspension seats. Add well installed 4 or 5 point harnesses. That’s buckled in.
  7. For Those That Carry A Spare Inside

On my ā€˜74, when I wheel it, I put the spare in the back area. Steel wheel w a 33ā€ spare on an old tire carrier didn’t make me feel good. I lay it flat and strap it down in an X pattern. The. All the gear get thrown on top of it.
  8. Fire Extinguisher Mounting in the Bronco - Show Your Installs

And a great spot for it! In my opinion, you want the fire extinguisher as close to you exiting the vehicle as possible.
  9. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? šŸ‘ØšŸ»‍šŸ”§šŸ§°šŸšæšŸ›

Took the wife and in-laws to a Christmas market. The Bronco loves the Christmas season.
  10. Ford Performace tune is a disappointment.

Buddy installed the FO tune and he likes it. He’s picky and has driven a few HP German cars. If and when I rack up enough points, I’ll prolly get the FP tune also since I have an extended warranty. He did mention the combo of the tune and Sport mode though. Maybe that’s the sweet spot?
  11. Bronco Wildtrak Overland Build

    Right on!
  12. New Member From Texas!

Welcome. You’re gonna love your Bronco. Happy trails.
  13. Improve Sasquatch handling

What’d ya drive before the Bronco? Personally think the Squaat Bronco handles well for an SUV on 35ā€ tires. You may have recalibrate what your definition of good handling is. Is id brand new or purchased used?
  14. First Trip to Black Forest Off-Road Park w/Tri-State Broncos Club

Didn’t know this place existed. Is it a private property invite only dealio? How would you rate the trails from a difficulty level?
  15. Just Tired of my 2022 Base Sasquatch Problems

Sounds like you got a lemon. I have a late year built ā€˜23 and outside of the two recalls , it’s been good. (Knocking on wood). Coworkers son in law had some lemon Bronco. Dealer bought it back. If it were me, I’d be calling Ford for them to credit me the price I paid for the lemon and sell me a...
  16. What does your wife think of the new Bronco?

My wife’s been exposed to the Bronco world for almost 20 years. She knew it was inevitable but would’ve kicked my ass had a bought what I wanted new. She’s hated my last two cars. Both BMW’s. Called them sissy cars, city slicker cars. LOL. Day I pulled in with the 23 Badlands she was smiles...
  17. Okay the color match roof is dope

My 74 was special ordered with color matching top. Looks great on Gen6’s too.
  18. Which SUV has better offroad capability: Stock Bronco Sasquatch vs Toyota 4Runner with 3" lift and larger tires

I own both. 2015 4Runner Trail and a 23 Badlands SAS. Bronco beats it hands down off road and I’d say on road comfort also. 4Runner beats Bronco in reliability, longevity (154K miles on it) towing and rear cargo area. I love them both! Good luck with your decision.
  19. How I got the BUG.

My parents had a tenant house on our property growing up. The couple owned a washed out red, bone stock early bronco. I loved the simplicity and ruggedness of the Bronco. Almost 35 years later I bought my first Bronco, a 1976. Since then I’m on my second, a 74 and the 23. always loved them...
