Looking back on things now I'm glad I never changed my order to get my Bronc sooner. Glad I waited it out even though Ford kept moving the goal posts.

2DR Basesquatch 2.7 😁

I have regrets sometimes about switching from BaseManSquatch to my Black Diamond. I just couldn't get over Ford leaving in the extra cost of the auto transmission when you add it to a manual.
Also really wanted the vinyl floors and didn't want to deal with carpet.

Once I install the M210 I will have zero regrets, and be well under the Sas cost.

Come full circle and now the ONLY way to get a Base Squatch is a BaseManSquatch.

Shit was crazy early on. I can remember seeing WTs on dealer lots and thinking man that is the same Bronc I'm getting, just 20K less.

2 door is still the king, yet condolences should only be going to anyone interested in 2 door. Ford is clearly pushing those out.
Be surprised if they last much longer at this point.
Eliminating all 2 door Broncos would be surprising. It looks so much better/iconic as a 2 door. Crazy to eliminate totally.

Tell me about it! Luckily I had price protection so my '23 BD was about $39k.
Literally everyone I talk to is like "I can't believe you beat up an over $60k truck off road! " 😂

Iconic? yes, undoubtedly. Looks? That's subjective, the proportions on a 2 door bronco are way off to me, somehow.

I love the look I get when people say, "What did you pay, 70??"

I chuckle and say, "Nope, about what a well equipped SXS goes for". :ROFLMAO:

Moar door outer banks is the 'soccer mom' version (no offense to those here who have it). It's like the Wrangler Sahara. I'd be surprised if it went anywhere. I could be wrong though.

Honestly, other than some special editions, I think both just need basics:

Bronco to Wrangler
Base = Sport
OBX = Sahara
Big Bend = Rubi
Don't disagree that the OB 4 dr. has grocery-getter written all over it. But... just like with Wrangler's, they'll be a great used buy, likely never abused but with the underpinnings to build a great off-roader or rock crawler. Why start with a Sas or Black Diamond when you're going to lift it, add 37's or 40's and generally convert it into what it really wants to be.

Exactly! 😂 I think my boss literally doesn't believe me when I tell him what I paid.

You're not wrong. However I do highly recommend getting the 4A transfer case. So that can limit some options.

Losing the Standard package on 2 trims feels like a bit of a rip. '24 getting the 12" screen for all trims was a great value play - now you're forced to get the trim level that would have included it anyway. The packages really aren't that compelling, other than locking an auto-dimming mirror behind mid?? That's a work-truck level base feature where I come from. How is that not standard on a 2024/5 vehicle?
Anyone know if auto-dim can be retrofitted?

My legit question, is why keep BB and make BD an option to it. I always saw a BB as a Base with wheels and only opens up the option packages alittle.

I honestly think they should have left BD and canc'ed BB and let Base get the option packages opened up.

I had price protection, on my 23 ( I ordered in Sept 2020 ,30 month wait) I only changed my color when green was offered.. so Badland SAS 2.7 with automatic with Lux package was right at 54K most dealers were getting close to 70k on it at that point.

I ordered mine Nov 2021, went through two price jumps in 3 months w/PP, got mine for 51k, but it would have been 48k, had I ordered in the beginning. Last I checked, ordering it now is right at 62k, with no changes. It wouldn't make any sense to me to buy this now. I had a hard time spending what I did. Happy to say mine will be paid off in January. I hate vehicle payments.
