If you have the BD package on Base, for example, will it have the Base fender badge or BD?
Big Bend option, but either way, that's what I wondered. If it would have a BB or BD fender badge or something else displaying it with that "package".

Man the BB is getting treated like rodney dangerfield around here no respect lol

First remember that the people on this site are enthusiasts and represent a tiny % of the people buying broncos. Most car buyers don't want a base model. BB opened up better wheels ( I will die on this hill that steelies are hideous LOL), and option packages that the base didn't have. It's like the XLT or STX of the F-150 line up. Not everyone can afford a Lariat(OBX) or needs all the options available on it.

Once all trims had the MGV interior, there was no reason BD needed to be it's on model. It's essentially a BB with the good off road bits. Also remember a high number of broncos sold will never see dirt so forcing people into either base or a trim with a good bit of off road bits doesn't sound like a good way to get people into broncos. Honestly, the BD is the trim I see the least of.

So you have the base for the purists/budget friendly

BB for the average buyer that want's some creature comforts, with the option to add good off road bits, tires, lockers, skids, aux switches,

OBX for the creature comfort crowd

BL for the hardcore.
Amen and well said! BB had everything I needed and most of what I wanted at a price that made sense. I was able to upgrade to 285s and think the factory wheels look good enough that I saved a few bucks. This is a 3rd fun car that I will probably daily over my X5 as it's less stressful on these shitty Dallas potholed streets.

Everyone's here worrying if their now discontinued model bronco is "worth more" now that you can't buy a new one. Meanwhile I'm over here waiting for ALL of them to depreciate in value enough to buy a second to daily.

These are mass production vehicles guys. There are still lots filled with broncos. Unless you're a trim whore the price differences will be negligible. The HEL will be the only one that MAY see a premium in 15-20 years. Look at the 10th anniversary 03 cobras. There were 2003 made. They barely if at all bring a premium unless to someone that's buying a bubble wrapped version. At the end of the day to most cobra guys, it's another cobra but has painted brake calipers and red seat inserts... The continuation of the standard HE will ultimately make the HEL even more "meh" down the road unfortunately.

2 doors are for retired couples that want to shake their fists at younger people with families riding on the same trails as them. Ford isn't going to cater to one market because "it's the only real bronco." They'll cater to what sells. Look around the forum. Here in Bronco 6g, I'd wager that 40%+, (possible exaggeration, but you get the idea,) of the owners I see responding are badlands owners. That's why things are getting cut and divided.

Opinions don't keep businesses afloat, profits and ROI do...

Tell me about it! Luckily I had price protection so my '23 BD was about $39k.
Literally everyone I talk to is like "I can't believe you beat up an over $60k truck off road! " 😂
My 2D 2.7 23 OBX adv 4x4 high was $40k after Granger/Price Protection/Ford Can't Build It Discount... But unfortunately, my 2021 OBX was $48k (although it was Lux package) and that's the one I kept (and now beat up).

Unless the new Base is a bargain, I will be just sticking to what I have, despite the fact that I like the Desert Sand color finally being available and wouldn't mind having a 2 door base Mansquatch.

As far as a daily driver, my 2 door Bronco OBX has been a great daily driver, I actually prefer it to either of my F-150's.

In my opinion Outer Banks is the next one to go.
I'm fine with this. My 2.7 4-door OBX w/E-disco is going to be a $$$ unicorn.

“Worth more” because it is rare in our eyes has nothing to do with monetary value. It’s a depreciating asset and will always lose value.
I’m retiring in a few years and planned on this being my last 4 wheel vehicle. No more car payments.
“Worth more because it’s rare” helps me appreciate what I have instead of salivating over new features and models.
Sure would like that new display though …

I love my 4-door OBX. I looked at a Wildtrak, and realized I spend majority of the time driving on road (specifically highway). Im in the northeast, and feel like 99% of the Broncos (and jeeps!) with the oversized wheels and every skid plate known to man always looks like it just came off the showroom floor. It's the same as the trucks, which have become grocery getters. I can't hate on it, because it's each person's own wants and needs. The 2.7L 4-Door OBX is definitely as advertised. Great ride, creature comforts, can pop off the doors and roof, and can still drive it on some trails and the beach. I would never trust myself with a nice, new expensive vehicle on some of these crazy trails. I love seeing the pictures and videos on here, so I can live vicariously through them and appreciate what the broncos can do. I'd be the guy that rolls it. To your point about the F-150...I agree! The Bronco is strange, because it feels like a truck (aka sitting up higher), but can fit in some tight spots, and has some pick up and go. I do not notice the road noise anymore than I would on a truck or even my previous explorer.

I do wonder if gasoline will be hard to get, expensive and when. I personally despise electric vehicles and will never, ever own one. I'd rather a pedal bicycle. Closest I may get would be an electric bike. I may not have to worry as in 50 years I won't be around anyway. I'll drive my classic 87 Chevy truck to the end.
Why so much "hate" for electric vehicles?

I have regrets sometimes about switching from BaseManSquatch to my Black Diamond. I just couldn't get over Ford leaving in the extra cost of the auto transmission when you add it to a manual.
Also really wanted the vinyl floors and didn't want to deal with carpet.

Once I install the M210 I will have zero regrets, and be well under the Sas cost.
That was another benefit of the Heritage Edition. You didn’t get charged for an automatic when you only wanted a Manual.

Why so much "hate" for electric vehicles?
For me it's because the switch to them is being mandated by governments (across the world), not the consumer.

People switched from horses to cars and trucks not because the gov't made them switch, but because the car was superior in just about every measurable way.

Once EVs are better in most/every way, people would switch on their own.

I still can't believe I got my '22 Base Sasquatch 2.7 adv for $38,000. Haven't had any problems, but am still going to get an extended warranty (35,500 miles now), just in case.

Iconic? yes, undoubtedly. Looks? That's subjective, the proportions on a 2 door bronco are way off to me, somehow.
I agree. The two door, although "iconic" looks like a toy to me.

SO it's not the electric vehicles themselves, its others trying to make you switch to them that you balk at. That makes more sense then hatred of the vehicles themselves. Thanks, for not only the answer, but not biting off my head in the process. That happens quite a bit around Bronco6G. LOL

now that the 2dr heritage is gone and it is nearly impossible to get a 2dr 2.7, ford has completely taken me out of the Bronco market just like trying to buy a 2dr pickup has become nearly impossible…I really don’t understand why people think a Bronco, Jeep or pickup make good daily drivers…they are work/play vehicles…
Its why it takes all kinds to make the world go round. Not everyone agrees on whats a fun daily driver.
