So I asked my service department if they could order the parts in advance of my appointment on the 21st, they told me to call the parts department. I asked if I was ordering the parts if I would be expected to pay for them and was given a "non answer" answer, so I guess I'm stuck waiting until...
So it stopped raining, I went out to check the passenger's side.. They're both missing! (I thought the issue started before where I found the reservoir yesterday, so one went and then the other)
Passenger side:
Driver's side:
See all the parts of the reservoir that AREN'T rust? They're the parts that face the outside of the assembly.
See where the rust is, that's the part that is supposed to be sealed to the shock body, it's not supposed to be exposed to the elements.
It's clearly not due to abuse, I can't imagine what grounds they would try to deny it. The only damage to the reservoir is from it falling off my Bronco.

If it's not covered, I'll pursue going with 6100's but I really hope this isn't the case. I would be trading both of my Fords in on another make if that's the case.
If the shocks aren't covered by warranty when I've never had this thing on a dirt road, they won't have to worry about the warranty because my insurance will cover the fire.
Well I can no longer say my 2021 Badlands has never had a problem.
On the way home from work my driver's side rear shock decided it didn't want to be a shock anymore and all the fluid came out. I was luckily only about a km from home and was able to limp it home.
Unfortunately the soonest a...
Can't speak for 35's but I've run my OEM KO2's for 2.5 years now, they're good in rain and snow.
I've driven at highway speeds (110kph) in fairly heavy rain and never once felt the vehicle was getting squirrely or anything. They're not a dedicated snow tire, but I haven't had any issues in...
