Moar door outer banks is the 'soccer mom' version (no offense to those here who have it). It's like the Wrangler Sahara. I'd be surprised if it went anywhere. I could be wrong though.

Honestly, other than some special editions, I think both just need basics:

Bronco to Wrangler
Base = Sport
OBX = Sahara
Big Bend = Rubi

BB doesn't = Rubi. That would be the BL.

If I ran Ford. Big Bend would have been discontinued. Black Diamond two and four door. Base two door. OBX four door. Bad Lands two and four door. WildTrak two and four door. Stroppe two door. Eliminate Heritage, and Everglades. Raptor stays as is. BTW, the Sport would be the Maverick, and the Maverick would be the Ranchero. Plus exterior colors would not resemble 1950 TV shows.

Mass produced vehicles don't increase in value or become collector cars regardless of rarity for decades

And by that time, the craplastic interior will have bio-degraded, the carboard tops will have turned back into pulp, and the infotainment screen will have bricked if the soy wiring wasn't eaten by rodents first. If you have the money to buy and store one of these things, maybe it would be worth something, but not enough to cover the costs of insuring and storing it for 50 years.

No offense taken. We're not soccer mom parents, but overall, that describes the life my wife's OBX will live.

I said, hey, we're even going to the Outer Banks again next year; we can drive on the beach now! She said, oh, but it'll get all dirty and sand gets everywhere and you can never get rid of it...

well, the order guide seems to indicate that OBX gets the 4.27 with SAS, as well as front locker. So there's that.

I do enjoy folks saying their X y,z build is now ‘rare’. Like there’s collectors out there looking for mass produced vehicles.
