I usually drive my F150 to work, but the past 3 weeks have been all in my Base 2DR. To me, it's just as comfortable as the F150. I drive 28 miles each way, mostly in heavy traffic on a highway. I have no complaints.
Yeah, I see 1 CO a few times a week, but it's the same guy. I think other than him, I've only seen 1 other. I really thought I'd see a lot of CO, but I guess there's a reason why they only made it one year....
If your top choices are EG or CG, I'd go with EG, but that's because I like actual colors. In near Charlotte, and all I see are CG, Cactus, A51, and Black. I've seen silver maybe twice, HPR less than 5 times (not counting mine).
I did also buy the enclosure for the cargo area, but can't really comment on it's usefulness just yet since it's only been in for a month. It does seem fairly secure, so i'm looking forward to rolling around town topless with no worries about stuff wandering off. It is pricey from Ford, but I...
Another 2DR Hot Pepper in CLT!!!
Skip the door bags. I've used mine 3-5 times in 1.5 years of ownership. I also got the tray liners, which are pretty useful.
To each his own, I guess. I like the 4Runners from the 90's. Since then, no thanks. The top of the rear side window not lining up with the door windows makes it look odd to me. I know 4Runner is a competitor for Bronco, but to me, they're just different animals.
I often do a circle around it when I park at work and will walk to the front of my house and lovingly gaze upon at a few times a day. This is after 1.5 years of ownership and painful, countless years breathlessly yearning to replace my 84 Bronco II.
I don't mind the e-brake, I kinda like how there's no space taken up by a manual e-brake. I'm used to leaving the Bronco in gear anyways, so I'm not too worried about a failure.
