WOW...other than learning that the portals will eventually be adapted to D60, I learned exactly dick from that whole deal. Have any of you guys considered a career in politics? (o wait...I learned Lonestar's rig has radius rods!)

Portals on a Bronco is easy! Portals tested and functioning is another story. I understand that eventually they will get the bugs worked out and will be able to release to market. The key is they still have. a lot of testing to do and this I assume is why they haven't released to market yet. It is also my bet that they will soon change design to a Helical gear as they will learn that straight cut on IFS will not give a very good "Daily Driver" experience. They will be load I don't care what they say they have done to work this out. The reality is even Hummer has gone to Helical. They are best suited in racing and leaving the Daily driver experience to the pros.
Did you know the hummer went to helical cut gears to stop the "rocking"??? Had nothing to do with noise or strength.

That was more directed at the guy from Lonestar than Tyler...I was really interested in his build, even tho I don't plan to go that direction ATM, it's something I have alot of "academic" interest in. His comments made no sense to me

OP is dead WRONG and blabs more BS than is even legal!!! So nice to see his post called out very quickly by a very nicely made video that completely de-bunks all of his claims about the noise. Thanks for posting this so quickly!

Excellent example of how to INFORM a potential customer. A) what this product's design objective is. B) What "compromises", from an engineering standpoint are we forced to deal with. C) How we decided to deal with those compromises and why. D) How we obtained this knowledge, and how we tested it. Also a more or less "nut and bolt" walkthrough of how it's going to be installed on the vehicle. Very good video

On 74welds instagram they even have some decent technical back and forth about the scrub radius and effects of portals. I cannot imagine Tyler's responce to a similar question. If he ever got into any technical discussion.... wait thats never gonna happen.
