2023 wildtrak lux.
I’ve noticed CarPlay seems to overheat my iPhone. If I used wired and position the phone so it’s not wirelessly charging it still gets pretty warm.
if I disable CarPlay and just use Bluetooth for audio it cools off.
my other vehicle doesn’t have this problem with CarPlay.

Disabling wireless CarPlay fixed my issue. I have to use a wire now but it’s much better than overheating. I don’t know if it’s an iOS issue, a ford issue, or a combination of the two.

- Connectivity
- Wireless app projection
- Set the wireless app projection toggle to disabled.
