Best we can figure. They won't even tell my dealer where it went. It was set for delivery July 30,2021 and mysteriously vanished. MONTHS later....they said it was still coming....over and over and over. The last email was THIS past July! Fortunately the Ford rep learned back in late Feb that it was lost and not coming, so we re-ordered. Some fishy stuff.

I was admiring the undercarriage a few weeks after I got it and had taken it to an OHV park and noticed the defective boot. Dealer checked with ford and replaced the drive shaft under warranty.
Built in November 2020. I thought I damaged it on trail, guess not.

Not a recall just noisey. Been ongoing since April’ish trying to get it sorted. Ford told them to replace the front Diff, that was not the issue. The. A few months went by if me bugging them to fix it. They finally they replaced the drivers side and the noise for 80% better but now I could hear the passenger side cv clicking.
How did you finally get them to replace front diff? my dealer wont even acknowledge it could be issue(they think it is suspension when it is rotational noise). I have almost exact same build.

The front diff was the first thing they claimed ford engineering told them to replace. This is the sounds. It’s been a looonnnngggg. Road to get things done. They haven’t said no just things moving slowly. It’s there now for service next week to hopefully get the last of it (passenger side cv and shaft replaced)

FNA, just picked my Bronco up from the dealer on Tuesday after getting the child-lock recall done. Back to the dealer next week I guess. At least I get a free rinse out of it.

Well I think they have to do the recall thing because any lift kit that causes extra movement and articulation of the drive line joint could add to the accelerated wear of the boot.... However since Ford says " lift me" Under the front fender, they really have no recourse for those of us that have a 2"+ higher ride height. In other words, once again my lift kit has not voted the warranty on my drive line.

I cant wait to get mine scheduled so i can prove this point to the service manger.

Ford knows this is a problem REGUARDLESS of the ride height changes. How fun.

Any issue I’ve had with my Bronco, have been handled by Ford and my Dealer under warranty. I’ve actually been very happy with how accommodating they’ve been. It comes as a pleasant surprise after buying only GM vehicles for a decade (their corporate is terrible).
What dealer are you using in CO if you don't mind me asking? The one near me is the most laughable dealership in the country both sales and service and I need a good Ford dealership.

Took my Bronco in for service today. I had not seen this post before so I only knew about the rear door child safety lock recall. It was taking a little longer than I expected so I went and checked and was told about this new recall. Tech said my boot was torn but I didn't get to see it. Here's the parts they replaced from the report.

didn’t realize any production vehicles were made in 2020...thought all those pre production had to be crushed

You're probably right, but
In the case of a bad part, it is probably far easier to just use the dates they know the bad parts were produced by the vendor and the days they could have been on the line.
99.98% of customers will never read or care what dates they have listed, let alone what day they actually started producing Broncos for sale.
