Rear driveshaft bushing damaged - service recommend replacement

The recall was for the front driveshaft. I’ve never had this happen on my rear shaft, but I know many have. @Bmadda recently made a thread where he upgraded to an Adam’s rear shaft, you may want to look into that instead of another OEM shaft.

Mine is just like that. So far, there are no symptoms. What happens if it's run this way - what is the eventual failure? When I need to replace, I will give Adam's a call - definitely not going back to OEM.

I’m guessing you’ll just get a bunch of debris/water in the joint over time and it could eventually just start to seize up and not move correctly

I agree, it will just wear out the joint eventually. Personally, I would just leave it and replace the shaft with an upgraded more serviceable unit when the need arises.
I've been eyeing this one when ever the stocker is done
