It's time for me to start a build thread for the stroppe.
I prefer it to be conversational as if we were in a garage sitting around waiting for the parts girl to deliver her third try at giving us the correct waterpump.

I use odd, generally non-automotve things like L-track and 1/4-20 cheese plates.
I have no problem with, and readily promote, tangents.

If you ask about tail light led wiring and someone says they have a great pin kit for making a harness...thats perfect.
Speaking of harness, how do I use soft shackles to make a bridle to pull evenly on both front hooks?
I have snaffle snaps I use instead of soft shackles.
We call those suicide snaps when scuba diving becaue te damn things will snap themselves to any cable it finds.

Perfect.
Just like a garage talk where someone winds up sitting on the work bench because we're all out of chairs.

Pretty sure I would have you beat on worst build thread ever. I added 4WP coilovers with lowering springs. Seriously.

I was going to start a thread. “Just got my Bronco, how did everyone lower this thing”

I reached into my
Big Magic Box Of Amazon Used Items at 80% Off That I Don't Need Now, But What A Deal
and just yesterday tossed in two soft shackles a tree wrap and a snatch line. They now live in the bronco kilmatted ice-a-boxxa.

THIS is my hidden winch.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0H573PZDM?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title
I had it before I had the Stroppe.
I added a donut snatch block and a 100ft hank of extra line.
For years I had this system as a 12,000 pound winch in a craftsman tool box and a hitch mount.
I still hsve the portable 12k, but I took the tool box cover off of it to restore/paint...and never did.
So when I saw this one/already to go(and bought as amazon used for a LOT less)I bought it for the pacifica. It will be shared with the stroppe.

I have 8 Winches on vehicles here.
Ive never pulled myself out, just other folks and downed trees and such.
The one time I needed to pull myself out the winch was under water and froze/locked up.

So what's the deal with airline food?
Probably 25 years ago on a domestic Delta flight, I was buying one of their $10 sandwiches that was worth $2. The flight attendant looked at me as I handed her a Hamilton and said, "Sorry, we don't take cash." I did not understand the words. It was the first time I had ever heard that phrase spoken. I didn't even think it was legal to say. It says right on the bill it's good for all debts which I believe includes crappy airline food.

Knew someone who was a flight attendant for one of the big three (four?) airlines for about a decade. They said the cash payments during flights were basically petty cash/tips to the attendants. The airlines didn't really account for anything they sold and it was all the honor system, so they just pocketed it (at least a lot of the time). Then one day they announced they were going to credit payments only. It was the end of an era...

Y'know, in my day, not only did we walk uphill both ways everywhere, we also had to put the damn ketchup on a single napkin on our thigh in the car like the heathens we were. Little Molly tried to just squeeze it onto the fry and one speed bump later, let's forget about Molly, ok?

Kids these days! So spoiled.
