Has anyone experienced this? It just started 2 days ago (right after I removed the rear speakers). I left the wires hanging while I wait for replacement speakers. Other than that nothing else changed. Also ford did a software update last week for a safety recall (something about the rear facing camera).

My guess is that when you were working on the truck you had the doors open and interior lights, etc. on for a long time w/o the engine running and ran down the battery...

Charge the battery or drive it...

good luck...

Bad battery symptoms?

You can leave the doors open all day on the Bronco and it will not run the battery down. I believe those circuits power off after 10 minutes or so. This is a great wilderness camping feature, though others here have complained about the 12 VDC outlets not remaining energized..

I would check the battery voltage with a multimeter. If it's below 12v at rest then it needs to be charged. There have been alot of problems and warnings lights fixed on broncos by just simply checking and charging the battery. Vehicles today can do some crazy BS because of a low or bad battery. This maynot be your problem, but it's a good place to start. Hope you get it fix.

I've had the passenger side front dash speaker disconnected for a few weeks without issue. On the other hand I have vehicle updates disabled, never had an update.

Did you try driving it like it recommends?

The Bronco's instrument cluster screen will also tell you the voltage. It seems accurate enough to tell if your alternator is working or your battery drained. It would have to be on to drive it vice the center screen too.

Like OP found out, though, driving the Bronco for a bit fixes a lot of the electronic gremlins. I had some issue where I had to drive over 20-25mph for 2 miles straight and it was almost a week before I got a smooth stretch to do it.

And turn off A.S.S.. If your battery is getting weak you don’t want to be stranded at a stop light.
ASS won’t operate if the battery is low, so no worries there.

I was just about to make this same post/question! The lights do not come on when I open the doors anymore. My Bronco does Rev high around 1.4 for up to a minute, then goes down to .8... She drives fine. This has been going on for about a week.
